Tanak in the top 3 I reckon.

Mikkelson to keep the buckaroo C3 on the road ?
I've seen a write up he's got a few new parts on the car.

Which Meeke has apparently been wanting for ages and not getting? Whole situation with that team seems quite odd.

Mikkelsen a minute off already. Awesome.

Going by some of the comments on one of the other forums, the Citroen & Meeke 'issues' are all made up by British journalists....
Honestly, you couldn't make it up....

The whole 2017 C3 seems to have been completely mismanaged - and a year of testing & development wasted.

Breen broke a rear right driveshaft! Not a good rally so far for Citroen!

yes and now he has smacked a tree stump by trying too hard and losing control. Slower than Meeke and hits as many things. Good choice!

Craig Breen's comments at the end of the afternoon super special are very concerning. Saying he's petrified that he may crash at every oppurtunity.

I read on Twitter that Citroen have made changes to their technical staff already this weekend. Some suggesting heads at at the very top should roll too. Their man management skills have certainly been very dubious!

Tanak leads Neuville by a few seconds, Ogier over a minute behind him now! Wonder how long it is before he starts kicking off about it?

Are you referring to Mikkelsen? laugh
He's not storming the trenches this morning more storming into the fields.

To be fair to Lefebvre and Moreau that Germany shunt shook them.

Surely with it's lack of spectator control the event can't run next year?

Such a shame as seeing the cars so fast is fantastic, but they just never seem to learn over there.

Good result for Hyundai to close up the championship a bit, also happy to see Paddon back to delivering results (and with a reliable car) after the season he's had so far. Must be gutting for Tanak but the way he was attacking in those conditions was always going to be pretty risky, win it or bin it.

Another great rally, even if it didn't go down to the final stage in the end.

Unbelievably I read earlier that Citroen have dropped their top points scorer Breen for Germany. Really can't see the logic behind this!

Some reports are saying Breen is out for Germany, some are saying Lefebvre (who ironically just had his best rally in a long time).

Watching some of the on-boards brought back memories of the Group B days... punters standing about a foot away from a single, muddy track with the cars going past on the limit of control at 180kph! Must have been a big thrill for them but astonishingly dangerous. Sheer good fortune that no spectators were hurt or killed.

Tanak is undoubtedly now my favourite current driver. I'm sure somewhere up on a cloud a certain Scottish legend would have been looking down and nodding approvingly...

Its such a crazy event in every way. Would love to see it, but not quite as close as those fans!

Turns out Breen hasn't been dropped, Lefebvre won't be in a C3 until Spain. A great way to ruin his confidence after his best event.

Just caught up with the Ypres Rally highlights, which focused on the British contenders. Looks a great event (those ditches don't forgive), and one that I'll be visiting at some stage.
