What Indy 500 needs to be even better is to ask Tilke to introduce some of his "improvements". That will make it a world's best racetrack.

How did the white car challenging for the lead manage to be so competitive with a third of its rear wing missing?

They adjusted tyre (sorry tire) pressures to make it less loose.

That is a deliberate wing setting, many used it during qualifying. Alonso tried it during practice, the Chevys needed to run slightly less wing to be close to the Hondas running more wing.

It was fun wasn't it but let's be honest, it's a lottery with them all crashing left right and centre. I lost count of how many went out at the end! Was it 4 or 5 of the leaders? laugh
