All back this weekend. Lots of posturing from drivers and teams over the "break", but the championship is still wide open.

Mr Plato has been very quiet though. Do you think 2018 will be his last BTCC season?

A reliable source tells me Plato and Ash are swapping cars

it would be so amusing if they do swap and sutton puts it on pole. Given Ash has a chance of the title this year and if there is a genuine problem with Potatoes car its a bit unfair risking his title chance.

It further makes a mockery of the term "factory backing". How can they not have this sorted over the summer break?

I see Motorbase are down to 2 drivers for this round, with a new 3rd car being built ready for Knockhill.

Ha ha! Not such a reliable source then! But I get your point.

We may find that the Scoobs and Motorbase cars have been pegged back a bit (boost-wise) for Snetterton, to bring them back on parity with everyone else.

It'll be interesting to see if Eurotech having Brett in the car is a good move or not, he's quick in the Mini Challenge but AWE was quick in Clios, Proctor was too.

I hope it's not a waste of a good car.

If Austin or Newsham are penalised and Shedden isn't then it's clear who the BTCC favourite still is.

Now Taylor-Smith takes Ollie out...

Is it just me or is Ollie Jackson having a really rough time at the minute?

He's always a target it seems, but even more so than usual today.

I don't know why he bothers. I'd be furious spending all that money and driving well only to be punted around like a supermarket trolley..

He's just a clean driver in a grid full of knuckle draggers

Does seem that Plato was right looking at his race pace.

Didn't know Neal got away with cheating because someone was wearing the wrong tabard

I didn't understand what that was about,so I looked it up.

A pathetic loophole to turn the decision over......FFS.

I don't think he swapped cars with Sutton. Plato had a new front subframe put on his car yesterday, wouldn't do that with a straight car. I think the drivers need to be banned from whining about boost adjustments, Shedden and Neal both said they didn't have the power to be competitive yet Shedden went from 29th to 8th (before crashing) while carrying a load of weight and Neal finished on the podium. If there was no boost reduction they'd have finished miles ahead of everyone.

It's not just you,REAL race fans do not like the little tap to upset the car in front and hey presto I'm past.

I see a Honda cheat on p2. for race 3.

Just imagine how much further in front he would be in a "fast car"

I think Neal and Shedden are coached on how to moan...
