As the title
My boy got one of those "100 motoring gifts box set for his birthday where you can choose to drive anything from a tank to a lambo
Now with him not being the most confident driver he likes the idea of 3 fast passenger laps in a radical
We have a choice of 6 circuits but the 3 listed are best for us
Having had a look on YouTube blyton looks the best ? Bruntingthorpe in particular looked very featureless an didn't look that good but it is very hard to tell from a vid.
Anyone care to comment on the 3 venues ?
Cheers

Have you driven Blyton? I've done all of them and Rockingham is terrible as a track. Blyton isn't the best in the UK but it it will be fabulous in a radical and it has some nice little turns and kinks.
Brunters is brunters tho lol, avoid it !

Rockingham is a fabulous track, ...... and generally the only people that say it is terrible, is because they are poor drivers!! Having worked there since the day it opened, and raced there, and coached there, I can categorically say it is a joy to drive!!

i'm ok on track, and given a choice cadwell, anglesey, donnington spring to mind. Rockingham is a depressing place, and the concrete lined sections arent my cup of tea. i dont like silverstone, as its quite boring in road cars.

in relation to the OP post, about where to have an "experience" in a radical, and given the choice of Blyton, Bruntingthorpe or Rockingham, i know were i would be, and its not Corby :-)

Rockingham is a lovely track to drive.

Long, fast, banked run, millimeters from the wall, and then plenty of turns and sprints in the in-field.

Yeah, it's a grey, soulless place, but that disappears when you're behind the wheel.

Having seen the videos on youtube - the blyton circuit isn't the full track - its a very short loop.

If it were me, I'd be taking one of the other options that you are unlikely to do later in life - like a drive a tank!
