Apparently the WRC rally committee are considering putting GB to the end of the season ,AGAIN.

Why do they constantly fiddle about with this ?....confused
i thought it was moved to its current date at the behest of the sponsors as they want to show Wales in its best light i.e. not raining. Which is fraud is it not?

Shakedown was entertaining as I haven’t actually seen a wrc car in action for a while. We heard about Tanak’s off over the air.

Off to Brenig in the morning. Mast is already up and from there the cars will be a speck in the distance.

I heard of Tanak's off on my scanner too... and that the stage commander had viewed the footage online and decided to send the safety car in, all within half an hour of the stage starting!

I was there 5 mins after tanak went off. Great spot. Loads of well behaved spectators. To be fair the course car turned up and said on the PA system the crash was on YouTube already and HQ wanted that area made safe.
They all did as asked and everything was tickety boo.
The only downer was the amount of litter left behind! Why the f**k can’t people take back what they brought!

Sunrise over the Great Orme. It’s much colder up here than it looks.

We can see the helicopter and hear the cars but not much else.

Bad accident in the motorbike display. One of the riders has just been taken away in an air ambulance.

Last stage shortened and only done by the top 14.

Thanks. Haven't been that drenched since school PE. Hideously unprepared for horizontal rain, fog, mist, cloud, north Wales etc

Glad Ogier took top points to keep this alive for at least one more round.
I'd put money on him taking title again if I were a betting man.

Absolutely no excuse. You are given a black plastic bag for litter at stage entrance; yet they either don't use it, or fill it and leave it for others to collect.
No fireworks, No BBQ's, No fires! People obviously can't read.

And last night in Gwydyr (just don't mention the queue to get in; shambolic) somebody fired up a chainsaw.....

Lovely shots and very creative in comparison to the usual opposite lock ones.

You must’ve been in a different part of Wales, apart from the wind on the Orme we were mostly dry.

A proper car doing proper rallying , which is why most of us got addicted in the first place . Although to be fair , I watched some of the coverage from Wales this weekend and those boys are nutters too ,its just hard to beat the impact of a barking rwd car through the woods , stabs of power then silence ,rinse and repeat it'll never get boring .

My two boys and I had the pleasure of the cars coming past our house yesterday morning on the transit. Here's Tanak. My boys (8 and 6) were sitting in the back of my Ranger in their hi-vis and got waves from nearly all of the co-drivers.
