Presumably means Lappi moving to Citroen as rumoured if those reports are true about Meeke. Tanak, Latvala and Meeke would be some serious rally-winning potential for Toyota next year, not to mention exciting for spectators!
Is Latvala a lock for Toyota for next year? Did I see rumblings of an MSport move on the cards?Edited by GravelBen on Wednesday 10th October 10:23
was an outstanding GB for me this year. first one as a radio can in stage and had an awesome section in Myherin. for the first pass i stayed in the car and couldn't appreciate the full speed they currently achieve. but caught one or two from stage side in the afternoon and wow, just wow the speed is unbelievable! But what a classic event it turned out to be, from my perspective at least!
here's my badly filmed and edited video of GB https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELQWJuumXes
Did i say in here that Meeke was going to Toyota? I was chatting to a guy on the Patriot Stages about driver movement and he said then that it was a done deal, and that the pic Meeke instagramed the other day was from inside the Yaris. He also said Lappi has had a lot of seat time in the fiesta of late. not wanting to play second fiddle to anyone pretty much leaves just the front gunner position open at M-Sport. with Temu as his 2nd. not sure what of Elfyn when he hasnt been dogged with failures hes been the model team orders driver. I laugh at the comments elsewhere that it should have been a 2nd home win for Elfyn, if he hadn't retired with the misfire he would've had to drop time somewhere once Tanak stopped to allow Ogier the win.
Its all back on now for the last 2 rounds of the season with any of the top 3 able to take the win. I'll admit it'll be devastating for Thierry to lose it after being so strong this season and only being let down mechanically (as far as i remember). Ogier proving you need to finish to be in with the chance . . . . with a massive help from your team mate! And what a charge from Toyota and Tanak in the 2nd half of the season.
now Meekes in the mix for next year we should have more winners per rally and a closer championship!?

I have been convinced for years that there was something wrong in the Meeke car, either him not listening to notes or the notes being wrong in the first place.
So many accidents and silly mistakes, almost as if Meeke didn't hear them right or was ignoring a shout for a 5 and simply thinking "I'll make it a 6"
Either way, not as much discipline as their might be in other cars. Perhaps a change might bring about more discipline.

Meeke and Nagle part ways.
Paddon rumoured to be headign to M-Sport, but without Seb Marshal who is tipped to join Mekke at Toyota.
Breen allegedly joining M-sport, along with everyone else who isn't confirmed elsewhere so far
Silly season has been extra silly this year! I've lost track of how many different (often contradictory) rumours I've heard about most of the drivers, generally with little to no evidence behind them...Paddon rumoured to be headign to M-Sport, but without Seb Marshal who is tipped to join Mekke at Toyota.
Breen allegedly joining M-sport, along with everyone else who isn't confirmed elsewhere so far
And then of course people who have repeated 3 or 4 different rumours about the same driver or team can say "I told you so" when one of them turns out to be true!
Meeke testing, before engine issues ended the day early
