None of the stage time links, itinerary work for me on this page - http://www.wrc.com/en/wrc/livecenter/page/4175----...
I couldn't get them to work last night, didn't bother trying today - used the eWRC site instead, much better.

I still think the IRC Monte coverage provided by Eurosport is the best rally coverage we've seen.... this has potential, but needs more tweeks.

And, why hasn't there been a WRC preview on here? C'mon Pistonheads.....get it sorted.

There seems to be more interest in Daytona than the Monte....

Haymarket sold Motorsport News and Autosport to Motorsport Network so they'll probably care even less about rallying now. This thread proves there isn't much interest anyway so why bother, folk are more interested in whatever this weeks new McLaren is etc.

cracking action from the first day and a quarter! gutting for Evans and Neuville to have lost time as they did. But good to see Evans showing Wales wasn't a fluke with his times today. and hats off to Tanak, he's taken to the Yaris like a duck to water it seems!

Top 10 as end of today

OGIER 2:07:15.4
TÄNAK 2:07:30.3 +14.9
D. SORDO 2:08:15.1 +44.8
LAPPI 2:08:25.3 +10.2
LATVALA 2:08:25.5 +0.2
MEEKE 2:10:00.9 +1:35.4
B. BOUFFIER 2:10:50.0 +49.1
EVANS 2:11:17.1 +27.1
NEUVILLE 2:11:19.5 +2.4
C. BREEN 2:12:22.0 +1:02.5

Trying to catch up with the Live stages, would prefer more helicopter shots than the onboards, however they've placed them in decent places for a change to show more stage action as opposed to the roll cage mounted ones that showed nothing but shoulders or A pillars!

Mixed feelings on the live subscription, it works on neither my phone or fire stick apps. but can watch it via web browsers on both confused
but given how little I've been able to catch up on all day and the teething issues so far I sit in the not worth it camp.
I think they'll struggle in places like Sweden and wales especially as the feeds are being affected by low cloud and poor weather, will be really interesting in countries like Mexico and Argentina. that said the sunny events coverage should be exceptional!

First clip is impressive. Can't help but think that's a poor place to stand though. I know they are up a bank but from that camera angle it looks exactly where you might expect a car to go if it hits some ice and heads straight on.

With the snow it was a much slower approach when we were there, would have found somewhere else if bare tarmac had been showing.

Well trying to find stage times and results is proving difficult on the new App. Looks like a case of get the video on and forget those who want to see the times and stage results.

Well done to Seb, his 6th Monte win; sensible drive, fast when needed, and a little bit of luck. The way to succeed at this event. Promising event for Tanak who looks as though he may well be the leading challenger for Toyota.

Hyundai showed flashes of speed, but that's not really news; they need to be reliable. Citroen are a mystery...will need more events to evaluate were they really are; however, I think Meeke would have accepted 4th on Thursday night.

Roll on to Sweden.

A shame the WRC still isn't interesting many people on here.

If all the coverage was like the final live stage on BTSport today it would be the best TV motorsport around for me. The helicopter shots of the first couple of miles just looked spectacular. Good win for Ogier, Meeke did very well to win the power stage, he could easily have dropped at least two places otherwise.

The app is still showing last years points too.

Is it me or does anyone miss the centre camera that used to sit behind the seats with almost a full view out the wind screen? I don't think much of the view from footwells looking up at the cockpit or similar angles.

The best way to get stage times and overall positions seems to be in the "live maps" section. (provided you have WRC+) but the app and website need a bit of work if they want to keep people on board.

For the first weekend of "All Live" they did have some technical difficulties but I'm thrilled they've got full coverage now instead of the poxy 2 stages a day and at least you can watch stages you have missed now as well. Monte 2018 was pretty good, surprised there isn't much chatter about it here. This season will be very tight I think and I hope we see Ogier dethroned to keep it interesting.

I think WRC+ All Live has potential, just needs a few tweeks – and as a paid service, it has to be reliable. It seems to be what the true rallyfans want.
My issue is the free to air Live coverage; it has to be more than one stage on RedBullTV. Look at the interest in the WRC on this thread; very limited, and in a quiet time for motorsport (apart from Daytona). F1 off season talk gets more interest….

Once I got the 'all live' hooked up to my Amazon Fire stick it was a real treat. Bit annoyed that they took the coverage of the first Turini pass off-air to prepare for the live TV stage, but overall it was a good effort. Really felt it got me closer to the rally, although it was a big time thief!

Cancelled my trial subscription, primarily because I know I won't get as much time to watch rallies as I did this weekend, but may well come back to it later in the season.

I'd probably comment more if the thread was busier, I witter on enough on Twitter as it is!

Great win for Ogier, it seemed everyone had an off/spin at some point, but his pace and control was in a league of one. Evans in the sister car also had good pace at times, which was encouraging!

Tanak was probably the driver of the rally. Fast and consistent while adapting to a new car. It could be a great title fight between him and Seb Ogier. Decent effort from Latvala, who usually panics and throws it at the scenery when he hasn't the pace of the others. Consistency is key in this game.

The same with Meeke. Bloody unlucky getting stuck in a ditch on stage 1, he also would normally have thrown it away, but absolutely nailed it in the power stage, taking 30 seconds off of his 1st run!

Think I'll wait a bit longer before I decide on WRC+ All Live. It sounds promising, but needs refining. I didn't enjoy Rally Radio being mixed in with it, just didn't seem as good.

Ogier really showed why he's the champ at this rally, had his issues but still obliterated the rest of the pack and didn't let it phase him.
I think Neuville could challenge him with a bit of luck thrown in going forward. Maybe Mikkelson but I don't know if he's got the consistency. Evans is gonna be one to watch for the next few years, his old man is going to be dead jealous!!

Agree Tanak is the driver of the rally, how would you think for a second that it was his first time competing in that Yaris?? Top drive out of him. I'm still trying to adjust to his personality though. Bit cold. That said, his driving does the talking.

As an Irishman I'm disappointed in Breen's result I was hoping for big things after his incredible 6th place in an obsolete car last time out at Monte. And having seen him in action at his local rally last summer, the skill is there no doubt about that. (if you haven't seen it I highly recommend the incar footage of that one. Ravens rock is the rally. Then look at where he finished in the field. nuts stuff) Room to improve in WRC however.

Hopefully they sort out the All Live issues in time for Sweden, the website as a whole is very clunky still. For up to date timings you are better off with rallylive.net I think for now.

+1

I get into rally discussions more on another forum which is more enthusiastic about it, these threads often seem to degenerate into too much complaining about how rallying isn't as good as it used to be / could be (or meta-complaints about how the thread isn't busy enough tongue out ) instead of focussing on what is actually happening in rallies.

I enjoyed Monte, as usual a bit of a lottery with conditions and who got stuck or didn't when they fell off the road but plenty of exciting moments to watch. Impressed with Tanak on his first outing in a new car, and Meeke keeping his head down and driving sensibly for a points finish instead of his old win-it-or-bin-it habits.

WRC+ All Live is a great concept, room for improvement in a few areas of course but teething troubles aside it was a definite step up from last years coverage IMO.
