Ok, long day and just home so maybe I’m blind, but didn’t spot a thread running...

Interesting day! Don’t think anyone would have pegged a FWD pole but fair play to Cammish, he was absolutely on it! Good result for Smilie in 5th also, he knows Knockhill and did 2 seasons with us in Scottish MINIs, so he’ll be one to watch.

GT5 support race was frenetic at times, cracking win for Shane Stoney, another Scottish MINIs vet who knew how to capaitalise when it all kicked off at Duffus.

Any PHers up tomorrow, come check out the Citroen C1 racecar build just up from turn 1. Scottish series being launched and we’re building the first car live over the 2 days. Cage was being welded in as I left, also lots of info for anyone interested in motor racing or marshalling, right next to the historic touring cars display as well.

It’s fair to say it’s more to do with Sutton than the Subaru, with Plato managing a mighty 26th...

Surprisingly clean race considering the tiny track and the conditions.

It's good to see clean racing , might not be quite so appealing to the masses but I for one enjoy clean and planned overtaking.

I don't think Colin should be penalised for that ,Jelley made a small mistake first and should probably admit that in any inquest

in the "Bus" they always mention.

I thought this was Juniors to begin with.

The carnage is similar.

Not so clean for the kids.

I’m convinced some of the juniors don’t brake when they see the crash in front of them, they just accelerate and hope to push cars out the way.

This is the GT5 championship ,not the Juniors.

They'd do well in NASCAR!

I didn't realise.

Still feel sorry for the young guy. He is devastated.

Jelly is a class driver great to see him back near the front but what a shame to get punted off when he was definitely in for a podium today and now has to start race 2 from the back.

Is this ginetta series new for this year? Anyone know what spec these cars are? Are they same as juniors but with more power?

It's not a new series, it has featured on the BTCC bill before but mostly races at different meets and yes very similar car to Juniors but more power.

Agreed. Jelley went to the middle of the road then moved further right as Turkington went for the gap. An unfortunate end to what had been a great drive.

They're Ginetta GT5 cars, normally appear on the British GT programme.
