Sutton was very aggressive in race 1 and the incident was clearly his fault wasn’t a gap there

Wasn’t expecting that fight from turkington in race 3. Smart race craft to get on ingrams bumper to prevent him trying to get past Morgan.

Is your life that sad that you a. click on a thread you clearly have no interest in and b. waste even more time posting that pointless reply.

It’s dheads like you posting crap like that which has driven away all the posters who would have previously contributed to race day threads. I’d even go further and say lousy attitudes like your is what’s killing Pistonheads

It’s Sunday, get a hobby and go out and enjoy yourself.

Thank you for the glowing character reference sir, im sure many others will agree with you rolleyes.

I think if you look through my posting history for the last 5-6 years you will see that i often post on the BTCC threads again often quite positively so im not sure that ive shown any lack of interest in the events or that its "attitudes like mine" that are driving people away. Id argue that topics turning into petty arguments, name calling and consistent personal attacks on people across all forums on here just for having different opinions than other posters is more to blame. While i agree, i have a sad life, i dont dispute this, im a mess, my lifes a mess, actually you'd be pretty accurate if you had suggested that im a loser and should probably kill myself, i dont see why that means i cannot share an opinion that many others have posted in the past.

Anyway, back to the BTCC. Im glad Ingram and Turkington had strong weekends. I did fear that Ingram may not be able to be consistent enough to still be in the hunt going into Brands Hatch so for him to be the main challenger to Turkington is tremendously exciting. I hope that the weather will be dry for the finale so that both guys get a fair shot because we know that the BMWs have a slight disadvantage in the wet. Impressed with Harper in the Porsches, he looks like he has some real talent.

BMW's aren't that good in the wet or dry on the GP circuit whereas the Toyota is quick there. I can see Turks getting caught up again like last year.

Why do they have to run the races on dates that clash with f1

Only so many weekends in they year, they have to fit BSB, British GT and other major uk events in like speedfest, dtm, WEC, Blancpain, Motor gp and Wsbk

People aren't capable of recording races etc?

I watched both today no problem at all.

I managed to watch all 3 BTCC races and most of the live WRX from Latvia.

Saw about 5 minutes from Singapore.

It was Moffat BTW who was in front of Ingram in race 3 .

He did well to keep all behind him ,the fight for P3 to 6 was mega.

It sets up a good final round, I don’t mind it clashing with F1 as you only need to watch 10 minutes, the first lap, somewhere in the middle to see who was the best at pit stops and if anyone had crashed then the last lap.

I’d like Turks to win, however Ingram has had some fantastic races this year, he is in a sole Avensis and works hard to get it right for the race weekend so I wouldn’t be disappointed to see him win either, both are very worthy champions.

To be fair if you are that bothered about watching F1, you cant really be that serious a BTCC fan, as most would never dream of watching that tripe over BTCC

Yep, agree with that. My recording box has a 1 minute skip button. I watched the first lap of the F1 then kept pushing the button, watching for a few seconds and repeating until something interesting happened. It never did.

I watched it all live. From Woodcote A. A pretty good day. Lot's of cheers when Tingram overtook anything, particularly when he took the lead.

I would say the crowd has nothing against Turkington, but would really like to see Tom take the championship.

I have a really bizarre dislike of Ingram, it’s not him as a person he always comes across well in interviews, races well and clean relative to most of the field, has worked hard with Speedworks to get the car where it is, but if he he wins it means we have to hear everyone call him bloody Tingram even more, and I just find it the stupidest nickname in he world, at best it’s just lazy and pointless and at worst it’s overused to a point where it’s silly.

Yes I know it’s a stupid reason but I just find it infuriating hehe

Just caught up with it, gutted it's down to a 2man title race now instead of 3, I like all 3 of them aswell which makes a change!

I did however see turks overtaking under yellows in the 2nd race though yet nothing me toned of it.....

I'm sure if that happened Gow would have jumped straight on it! He'll do anything to setup a close finale!

Anything except penalise the Hondas. I still cannot believe Neals move on Olly went unpunished.
