Not sure where else to put this.
But, the LSR attempt Bloodhound vehicle project has been canned.
Being reported in numerous places sadly.
Not everyones cup of tea, but I have a soft spot for these record attempts, came into it in later life not as a kid and some of the things I have read about Noble, Arfons, Breedlove and others are amazing.
I feel especially sorry for all those that helped build, deign and put together this amazing thing we never really saw get going, and those who volunteered.
It was used as a tool to get kids into engineering, and I ope in that way it has worked, but was obviously always going to struggle to get the funding together to achieve much.
