Looking for some guidance here folks....

I’ve heard that Richard Breland has left Blink - anyone know what his future plans are?

I’m a bit concerned as my car is in bits at Blink at the moment. I don’t want the scenario where my car never ends up finished if Richard’s departure is a sign of something terminal.

I don't think you have cause to panic, as everything is in good hands with Fraser and Graham. Richard hasn't fallen out with Blink, and everything is amicable! Have a word with them, and just ask for a reasonable timescale on completion! It really is business as usual!

Thanks - just heard from Richard and all seems good. One of my friends had his marque specialist go bump mid-resto and it caused carnage, so that put the willies up me a bit when I heard Richard had gone.

Hi, I am the Director of BLiNK Motorsport (Fraser) and I can assure you BLiNK is alive and well and still fully functioning!

Richard has left on completely amicable terms - we are still best friends and I fully respect his decisions. To pretend it will not effect us in the short term would be stupid; we have work booked in anticipating that two people would be able to carry out this work where as we now only have one.

I have replied via email to anyone that has a car with us at present to explain matters and have been as honest as I can with them.

We are actually busier than ever and we will be 'trackside' this year as well as tuning cars in our workshop. It is a 'regrettable issue' that has caused some very short term issues.

I can assure everyone that Graham is extremely competent and knowledgeable (anyone who has raced with us knows this all to well) and we have the skill set and work to prosper in the future - There is no chance of BLiNK closing the doors; quite the opposite in fact!

Hope this helps.

Good stuff, very happy with this response Fraser, and Richard was completely aligned as well. I was just concerned based on other experiences in similar situations.

Good luck with that. I had mine booked in but had to do it 4 months in advance, as that was the first available slot, then a week before I got called into hospital for an operation and had to cancel.

I almost cried!!!

This is the 'crazy mad' time of year for us with the racing season starting in March. It's best to contact via email for bookings. It is difficult to monitor all the forums, social media, answering phones whilst trying to get through work.
BLiNK is a very small company which we like as it keeps the standard of work (we hope) high but it doesn't take a significant change in workload for us to become extremely busy.
Thanks to everyone for their support.

Came across this on a search, as I was seeing if you were still open!

The website isn't live, which I'm not taking as a good sign? What's the email address for getting in touch?

Sadly they are closed now, as the owner had a severe illness and the business could not continue. Real shame.

I ended up going to Basset Down Balancing in Hungerford for my work, although the primary thing I had done was a fancy forged engine build. Hope that helps
