The latest shape clio never really took of like the mk3/mk2 the budgets have increased which dropped the numbers. Combine that with this being the last year the grids were never going to be big this year. Mini will have a much bigger grid for next year.

That was fun, especially when they were 3-4 wide in the drizzle!

Sutton getting a bit silly now, seemed to be constantly pushing others off the track.

Took a wander round the pits as everyone was packing away, my mate and his son bumped into Dan Cammish. The result is a very happy 7 year old and a jealous dad!

Quite amusing given his own protestations over Plato making contact with him at Snetterton hehe He certainly seemed to be repeatedly giving Ingram quite a few taps, runs wide, etc.

Good drive from Plato in race 3 though to finish 5th. Shame he buggered up the start (for the 2nd time this season) in the first race though.

Great for Cammish to finally get a win as well - he's had enough 2nd's up until now.

I bet most of the drivers were happy that Butcher's non start knocked 1 lap off the total distance as i don't think they'd have lasted another lap with the way the rain had set in at the end - it certainly seemed pretty heavy when they were doing the post race interviews.

The race still would have finished at the same time....

I see Jack Young was DQ'd from the Clios for the Coates collision

I couldn't quite believe that he thought that move was okay when interviewed.

Correct. Or maybe earlier. Because they did a second green flag lap. Which is slower than a race lap.

Only caught the latter end of today's racing on ITV4+1 but enjoyed it and great to see DanCam finally getting the victory.

Really think Plato's penalty did not fit the Crime. What actual advantage did he get by having his nose over the line? Probably none and he didn't jump the start.

So a drive through penalty in the first few laps, which effectively puts you last, then penalises you in the next race and the last race is a bit harsh. And let's not forget that we were robbed of seeing Plato going for it and we lost another element of what was good racing.

It did bring Plato and Sutton together though.... and Sutton did get involved in a fair bit of wheel banging without question??

I think a 5sec penalty on his race time would have sufficed, It would have penalised a failure to line up correctly but wouldn't have destroyed a drivers whole day..... and I do realise rules are rules and they have a penalty associated with it. Just think that's overly harsh and damaging to the series.

Someone with his experience ought to be able to place his car in the grid slot properly.

The penalty isn't new either - quite a few other drivers have received it.
