Unless they have bought simpsons tbl to run a 3rd car. Neal jr won the uk tcr so if matt isn't ready and they run shedden in a 3rd car he could quiet easily fill snr role.
I seen a comment a few weeks back (not sure if here or elsewhere) that though Simpson had held their tbl and entered the car, Matt wasn’t keen on driving this year? How true that is I haven’t a clue... but I have thought to myself a few times, what Flash could do with that car given his knowledge of the FK2!

There were four 1 series built, the two chassis that Turkington used to win his championships (numbers 2 and 4) are own by private collectors... I assume that’s code for ‘BMW motorsport
I believe that Colin owns both of his championship winning chassis.

H'mmmm thats a good possibility as well.... i'd been thinking what the polar bear posts on insta could be about... the cars being red and coke previously having polar bears on the cans was in my head, then someone commented similar!
I think Autoglym is more likely now seeing as they have their logo on many of the cars!

V. Quiet on here this weekend, but just had to post something on here that I’ve posted elsewhere tonight... bit of a rant but had to get it off my chest!

sat watching the chase on challenge, Suzi Perry who as we all know is supposedly a motorbike/motorsport fan having presented for moto GP and F1.

Her question, Which uk race circuit has areas of it called maggots and hangar straight? .......I thought shell get this easy... she hesitated, looked confused, panicked, then blurted out brands hatch....

If you didnt get the question, a bit of a clue is in the name hangar straight - so clearly there must have been aircraft hangars on the area in the past... aircraft need a flat area for a runway so she chooses one of the most up and down circuits in the country.... brands!

Utterly disappointed, people that are payed to present sports and claim to know what they are talking about that know nothing! In a week where Paul ONeill has announced he will no longer be allowed by itv sport to attend Saturday on race weekends because of cut backs... a genuine, approachable and more knowledgeable nice guy in motorsport presenting you will not find, yet people who claim to be fans get prime presenting jobs and know nothing!!!

Surely they’re not actually banning Paul from attending Saturdays. Just not paying him to work Saturdays any more.

Presenting style is more important to most viewers than knowledge. Nearly all sports broadcasts have a front person and then an expert. The front person doesn't need to know everything.

Paul is definitely a nice guy but I find his presenting and commentary style irritating in the extreme.

As for Suzi have you never had a moment when your mind goes blank and you just can't remember something that is common knowledge to you? I know I have several times and without the pressure of the situation she was in at the time.

No they’re not mate you’re right (I probably could have worded it a bit better!) though I dare say he’ll still be around some weekends.... makes you wonder how far the cutbacks will go though

I think you’re probably right re. presenting style though I would rather have knowledge... mind you Jim rosenthal did pretty well with having neither on the itv F1 coverage all those years ago didn’t he lol

I guess we’re all different mate, I like Paul and what he does... kind of the people’s commentator if you like.

All the time mate... the years are drawing on lol. I’ve seen her make a couple of odd comments in the past but never really thought anything of them (can’t for life of me remember what they were now...just remember thinking ‘that’s not quite right’ at the times) but that one just kind of added to them..I’m sure it made her cringe as much as it did me!

Andy Neate returns to btcc completing the motorbase line up... I have to say I’m completely underwhelmed by this news... I understood he was black listed by toca for the team dynamics farce a few years back?

Motorbase have two cracking drivers in Wookie and Rory... it’s kind of lowered the profile of the team ......mind you plenty of tv time whilst his crashes replay and gravel trap extraction takes place! 🤭

He was the guy who to some extent funded Plato and the MG right?

I remember almost nothing about his driving so...he's bringing the cash again I assume.

(As I've said before. If I had the cash, I'd look to do the same, and I'm rubbish)

I can’t have been the only one hoping for Flash to end up in a focus next to Rory. Neate seems to have gone down like a lead balloon, hopefully he doesn’t prove us all right with terrible results.
