Thought of a new BTCC penalty

I was thinking for something REALLY serious, like the Plato/Neil handbags at dawn at Rockingham a few years back what about Banning the driver for 3 races and the team being forced to 'promote' a younger driver from the support races to showcase their talent and give them a leg up.

In reality its too complicated to happen.

With few exceptions all drivers are paying for their seats, have contracts with their team and sponsors and unravelling these for a weekend and disrupting the other guys championship standings in the support race wouldn't be fair either.

Clerks of the course can endorse licenses leading to a ban via totting up of points and can exclude competitors from results.

Completely pointless for an event that's happened only a couple of times in the past few years if you're being generous with the definition.
