I’m not denying Sutton’s ability, but Mr Harvey is hardly subtle every round. He certainly seems a favourite to that pundit compared to any other driver on the grid.

It's not the straight line speed that's impressive though is it... it's outright balls, fast corners and braking where he excels.

Whilst we’re on the subject of commentary, David “LOOK!” Addison would do well to take his own advice and look at the damn screens and he might not call so many things wrong in every race. He really is chronic.

Haven’t heard it mentioned on TV yet but appears Sutton and Butcher have had their places reversed so Sutton is lining up on P4 for the 2nd race, with Butcher in P5.

It's a TOCA engine in that car so no more than anyone else with that engine which is most of the field.

Butcher got a 2 second penalty for gaining an unfair advantage.

I think it was at the 1st chicane on lap 1

This is possibly the best example you are ever likely to see, of the difference between a hard racer and a smart racer.

I see NicHam is still absolute rubbish, is there any reason he's still in the seat beyond the obvious?

Extra Funding from his brother perhaps. But it's mainly due to the similiar goings on in the BBC, ITV, etc.

Jason Plato said recently that he sees a lot of himself in Sutton, when he was younger and that he's bloody quick but not the smartest.

If I knew my championship rival that was level with me on points had gone off, I'd be sitting perfectly happy in my nice safe 3rd place with a hatful of points, knowing that I'll probably get a decent result in race 3 too, while Turks is starting from the back.

The last thing I'd be doing is a do-or-die move down the inside, banging wheels to get 2nd, only if a very clear and safe opportunity presented itself.

He cant exactly race if the team cant get the car on the grid repeatedly and not just his car neither. No team hard driver is going great atm. His brother doesn't fund is drive its been openly stated many times.

Is he going to win races no however he has the budget and if a team wants to run him and nic is happy to race cant really see an issue. Hes not exactly miles of the pace of his team mates or spearing everyone off every round ala a certain other driver.

Yep hes done similar moves previously where using his head could of resulted in a better result happened at Donnington early on in the year. Tbf I was expecting that to happen with the cars attitude, it was the same in the Subaru always on the edge. That is why turks is a 4 times champion.

Yep, Turks plays the long championship game very well.

You could see Sutton was getting frustrated behind Hill, despite the hatful of points he was going to get for 3rd.....so it was just a matter of time before he made a do or die lunge.

Yep not only that but a top 10 start for race 3 15 or so cars in front of turks so not only losing points in race 2 but he has to fight his way through again with turks and butcher right behind him. Also cammish and ingram will be starting up the front. What a waste that move was.
