as to leman being empty, it was actualy much better for the teams, normaly after the race the spectators storm the track and pitlane, so you have to take down all the pit equipment before the end of the race, otherwise its gone, this year we could take out time, but it did feel abit soulless

Best gift you've received from a gentleman driver?

Have you worked on LMP3 at all, what do you make of it as an introduction to LMP racing?

best gift i ever recieved was a genuine rolex daytone, the real ones that you get on the podium, not the fake ones you can buy, i never wear it, but i will never sell it.

I was a volunteer weekend warrior/data engineer with my friend. After years of running Radicals the Norma M30 was awesome, but I've never been around LMP2 to compare. Although my friend has driven DPi at Daytona

What's your opinion of BoP? Is it a ball-ache, a challenge or combination of the two?

re bop, not something im a fan off tbh, if someone builds a better car then it should be up to the others to up their game, the problem is that increases costs, so its a hard one

Have you worked across the pond at IMSA/ALMS?

Is there a cultural difference in the paddock/garage or is every paddock is the same around the world? It's been said the Americans are more laid back.

Thanks, this should be interesting!

How much slower are the target lap times for a 24 hour race compared to a sprint race?

During the race, do you sleep?
How ,ucn sleep do you get over the le mand weekend/race?
How do you deal with the lack of sleep?

Have there been any big, race losing mistakes made due to sleep indiuced mistakes (the ke mans 1995 mclaren documentary shows this)

I have done 11 24hr races, mainly Creventic races doing the lap timing and strategy for touring cars (as a hobby) and I catch-up on sleep in the week after the race. Normally once the race ends we have to pack the garage away, go home, shower and collapse in bed as it is back to work the next day.

Our mechanics get to nap between pitstops as we can do 2 hours on a tank of fuel.

I have two questions

Firstly is the second part of your surname a number between three and five

If the above is true then secondly, what is the highest number of Ginetta G55 front bumpers have you repaired or replaced in one day hehe

No, me too. Luckily the thread title has now been changed from 'lmp' to LMP to avoid confusion.

Do you get asked a lot of stupid questions by people with loads of cash that have wangled a pit pass/mate of a sponsor? And do they get in the way in the garage?
