Just got back from the BTCC.... kids got bored so missed last race. Forgot how much value you get for the money. Non stop racing, the mini rolling and a crash from the Juniors was right in front of us in the grandstand. 36 and paddock access 15

My qualifying ticket for Silverstone next month was 200

Yes, 3 points and a 20-second penalty for causing a collision

Thruxton... it seems that it’s not their favourite track then.

Can't understand why they have to go for the GP circuit . It generally spaces the cars out (most formula) and leads to some pretty boring racing. TV may well be unimpressed

I remember a few years ago when they decided to bring back the full Oulton Park circuit, pretty sure because it tied in with an anniversary, and there was hardly any overtaking that weekend - pretty much a procession with cars following each other around.

Good. Really glad they're using multiple layouts of other circuits rather than two Thruxtons. I mean thruxton's great but the same circuit twice in the year is a bit limp. Would be great to see some of the other Silverstone layouts in with a shout in future as well.

Hasn’t Cadwell Park got two layouts?
That’d be amusing.
BTCC’s equivalent of Monaco.

Anglesey, Coastal Circuit would be brilliant.
It's a shame the infrastructure isn't there/ couldn't cope.

Not a BTCC fan at all, but oddly saw Turkington today with his young las who is starting racing autograss, never thought I would see a guy at that level padding about in a field, fair play to him, was very approachable and helping the organisers a bit!

Same reason Cadwell will never appear on the calendar sadly, unless somehow the series would have a shrunken weekend schedule with the touring cars and only a couple of smaller support races, but even that for both circuits would require a bigger paddock area
