Early days yet... but it looks like we’ll be seeing a few new faces in 2022.
By my poor maths... 6 at the moment
( 3 not returning, & +3 more TBL’s)

And that’s just for starters.... can’t wait.

Why would Gow want to ‘trim’ the field?
Preventing teams like Speedworks and Team Dynamics from running three cars seems odd.

Gow has explained that many times since 2018 when he first said he wanted to reduce the field.

What he said at the time.

“Each year, the teams bring more and more equipment with them and you only have to look at the paddock areas – at some of the smaller venues, we are simply bursting at the seams.

“High grid numbers can also create problems on-track too: for example on the tight Indy track at Brands or at Knockhill, with the cars so evenly competitive there are just too many cars fighting for the same piece of track.

“So a more consolidated entry would be better for everyone in the long run.”

If anyone was at the late brake show yesterday, Mr Plato let out an interesting snippet of his potential drive for next year during the Q&A session...

Would be quite a turn of events if it did come to fruition.

I hope they don't use Napa parts on the race cars.

Motorbase haven’t said whether this is on the MB or Wera side of the garage. I am assuming it is the MB side. Jake has been rumoured to be moving but him and Dan would be a formidable pairing.

It's clearly on the "NAPA Racing" side of the garage.

Okay then- what side is the Napa Racing side then?

Easier way of putting it is there is no mb side anymore. All four cars are run by Motorbase two as Napa and two as something else

Simplest answer is that there never really was an MB side, the two white cars last year were always run and owned by Motorbase, MB were effectively like a title sponsor

Couldn't make it yesterday thanks to work. What did he say?
