Notwithstanding that I completely forgot it was a double-header weekend and missed yesterday's. quali very good today so far.

The head-2-head set up means the two Jags are against each other.......imaging if F1 had this setup--------laughlaughlaughlaughlaughlaugh
This is the first 2022 quali I've watched. The side by side 'live' in car of the first 1v1 threw me at first, but it's the first driver delayed shown side by side live with the second driver hehe . The ones after that showing one car with the +- chart at the side makes more sense.

It's good that they don't use it all the time, as smaller picture, etc, but it is pretty clever doing live/delayed split to show comparison. I like it.

Dual motor 4wd, more power, smaller and it's gone back to more open wheeled like the original, but angled.

Monaco podium. Has Princess Charlene tried to escape again and been punished by having her hair shaved off and forced to wear a grey suit?

The Mercedes EQ team has been acquired my McLaren, so the silver cars will be orange next year https://twitter.com/McLarenF1/status/1525362992526...

McLaren are really expanding into any/all forms of (decent) motorsport, so now that makes: F1, IndyCar, FE, Extreme E, all as main name, branded teams.

I can't think of any other team with such a diverse spread of effort - hope it doesn't reduce input / effort in any of them.

Gen 3 car has been shown up at the Goodwood FOS breaking down and even being beaten by Jenson Button's rally cross car up the hill.

A month to the 2023 test of the new cars and 2 months to the new season, the attack mode rules are changing to... something, and the batteries might not be ready. https://the-race.com/formula-e/formula-e-overhauli...

If they really wanted to advance the state of technology - rather than flying around the world virtue-signalling about electric cars charged by diesel generators - they’d make the batteries a prototype part, and have the world’s manufacturers competing with their latest energy storage solutions.
