This is the first 2022 quali I've watched. The side by side 'live' in car of the first 1v1 threw me at first, but it's the first driver delayed shown side by side live with the second driver . The ones after that showing one car with the +- chart at the side makes more sense.

It's good that they don't use it all the time, as smaller picture, etc, but it is pretty clever doing live/delayed split to show comparison. I like it.

Dual motor 4wd, more power, smaller and it's gone back to more open wheeled like the original, but angled.

McLaren are really expanding into any/all forms of (decent) motorsport, so now that makes: F1, IndyCar, FE, Extreme E, all as main name, branded teams.

I can't think of any other team with such a diverse spread of effort - hope it doesn't reduce input / effort in any of them.
