Notwithstanding that I completely forgot it was a double-header weekend and missed yesterday's. quali very good today so far.
The head-2-head set up means the two Jags are against each other.......imaging if F1 had this setup--------
This is the first 2022 quali I've watched. The side by side 'live' in car of the first 1v1 threw me at first, but it's the first driver delayed shown side by side live with the second driver . The ones after that showing one car with the +- chart at the side makes more sense. The head-2-head set up means the two Jags are against each other.......imaging if F1 had this setup--------

McLaren are really expanding into any/all forms of (decent) motorsport, so now that makes: F1, IndyCar, FE, Extreme E, all as main name, branded teams.I can't think of any other team with such a diverse spread of effort - hope it doesn't reduce input / effort in any of them.
McLaren Formula E and Extreme E cars for the next seasons, partnering with NEOM, some kind of Saudi clean industry... thing. https://www.mclaren.com/racing/partners/neom/mclar...

mclaren have been behind the scenes in Fe for a long time. They were involved back in 2018 when i was at fe for a season. ECU's iircI can't think of any other team with such a diverse spread of effort - hope it doesn't reduce input / effort in any of them.
A month to the 2023 test of the new cars and 2 months to the new season, the attack mode rules are changing to... something, and the batteries might not be ready. https://the-race.com/formula-e/formula-e-overhauli...

If they really wanted to advance the state of technology - rather than flying around the world virtue-signalling about electric cars charged by diesel generators - they’d make the batteries a prototype part, and have the world’s manufacturers competing with their latest energy storage solutions. Channel 4 YouTube scheduled upcoming link for the race on Saturday night https://youtu.be/KUp7ed1Wmr4. Quali is in the afternoon on the same YT channel.
