I am hopeful of trying to do Spa WEC this year, maybe a tour. Not somewhere I have been properly, have been past and had a snoop around but not seen much there.

The Vanwall is a bit of a surprise for the WEC, hopefully the Isotto can make it for Le Mans, even if it isn’t ready it’ll be more fun that’s whatever is at the bottom of the P2 or GT entry list.

Shame there's no Tandy in the P1s. I'm guessing he's doing this season in the States with IMSA?

Tandy is a factory Corvette driver isn’t he? So he’ll be driving the C8 in IMSA and WEC I would have thought.

Yes, full season in the factory 963

Jaminet, Nasr and Matt Campbell also in the IMSA squad

Vanwall are mired in all sorts of issues not really linked to the car being ready so that might take a while Isotta may be there late season too.

Correct. As of a few months ago, Vanwell were still struggling for funds & I don't see a big sponsor on the car... but let's see.

Slightly underwhelmed by the Dubai 24h this year.. although the support single seater races were all excellent with huge grids.

Roll on Daytona.

Indeed, it is a fairly dull race on a boring track, not a great series even though it must be great to drive in.

At least it went a little better than the Virtual le Mans max threw his teddies out the pram and rage quit, nothing new there.

Having said that it was a pretty poor event,

Did they ever explain how it was the WRT and Herberth cars switched on the last pit stop, why their pit stop times were so different?

Have a look at the RS2 schedule at the bottom of Radio Le Mans website, not sure if any of that is available with pictures

IMSA TV has it scheduled as Sunday 1:20 PM to 3:00 PM ET.. which is five hours behind GMT. So I'm making that 18:20 on Sunday evening UK time. Hopefully..

What should be a golden era of Sportscar racing just starting this evening at Daytona. Cars look great, especially the yellow Caddy.
