It'll be interesting to see what the Iron Dames do next year with regards to the car they use. ELMS and ALMS where they could race a Lambo, they've chosen the Porsche.

Will Schiavoni be in the other Proton Porsche (it's the same race number used by him in ELMS/WEC).

I wonder if Manthey have entered the second car to see if Shahin can get an auto invite to Le Mans instead of him doing WEC next year. In a recent interview he said he hadn't made his mind up about doing WEC next year.
Their bigger issue will be driver line up

Bovy being upgraded to Silver, so if she stays I assume will replace Frey who is their weakest link anyway IMO, so they'll need to find a new Bronze

Theyve upgraded her before and Iron Dames have appealed it to keep her Bronze. She's clearly not a Bronze though and hasn't been for a while.

Celia Martin looks decent and has raced 2024 in the Le Mans Cup in the Huracan GT3. I'd guess she'll get the seat if they can't appeal the upgrade.

Decent entry for the upcoming Asian Le Mans Series. Doesn’t appear to be any shortage of cash available. https://www.asianlemansseries.com/news/article.php...

I live 15 minutes from the Dubai Autodrome and 1 hour from YAS Marina. So I will be watching live.

Still jealous of UAE winter motorsport, my visits to the Dubai 24h were excellent. The two Creventic endurance events looks decent for January also, with at least 50 cars entered for the Yas race. Just hope that regional events don't mess up the logistics.

You'd think that they have enough decent drivers to run two cars now. Not sure if it works financially for them though.

Pretty much a clean sweep for Porsche in IMSA, after a 2-3 finish at Road Atlanta

Drivers, teams and manufacturers championships in GTP and teams and drivers in GTD Pro

All being well, I will be helping run a Porsche GT Cup car in the YAS 6 hr event

The GTWC Europe Sprint Cup championship is a provisional result after WRT protested the Barcelona race 1 result. The stewards rejected the protest, but WRT have appealed, which means the result won't be confirmed until the Court Of Appeal has heard the case.

Fabulous final ELMS race yesterday

Incredible amount of incidents, with some great driving too

GT3LM championship decided on the last corner after Michelle Gatting played the team game and allowed Enzo Calderelli through for the title

1-2-3 in LMGT3 for Iron Lynx teams/drivers too.

Only 4 points separated the top 4 in the P2 Pro/Am championship too (94, 95, 96 & 98 points).

It’s a great circuit and on my doorstep.

Without doubt last weekend’s ELMS race was one of the most entertaining events that I’ve watched in a very long lifetime of motor sport. The ELMS race was far more riveting than the WEC race at AIA last year. The RTLM race was equally hard fought whilst the Ligier Cup was just crazy.

For €25 you get a grandstand seat and pit access. €50 buys you access to the VIP tower which surely gives you the finest vista of any circuit in the world.

It’s like being at Le Mans in the 1980’s - gives you access like this :

The French Carreras weren’t quite as entertaining but you had to love the liveries. Nice to see Almeras still competing .

Porsches Prototype driver line up looks ultra strong next year

In terms of raw speed a step on from this year

Announcing 2 driver teams when the ACO have said 3 drivers will be mandatory is an odd move, presumably they either see an advantage to swapping 3rd drivers in and out or think the 3 driver rule isn’t going ahead

I’d say it’s clearly not going ahead, at least not in 25

According to an article on DSC, potentially Iron Dames and Ryan Hardwick at Manthey next year in WEC.

None of that is a very good look for Lamborghini.
