Have they announced a replacement yet or is that to come on Sunday?
If you look at the photo above you'll see.

From Tim Harvey: "End of an era as our captain hangs up his microphone after the weekend. It’s been an absolute joy to work alongside the master all these years. Happy retirement on the golf course Steve and thanks for all the pleasure you have brought to so many.
Welcome to the team Nicki Shields."

It's Steve Rider's last day presenting today , I'd just like to thank him for his excellent work over the many many years . He will be missed by many of us no doubt.

It's going to be an emotional one and agreed he will be sadly missed. The consumate professional.

Nice opening with Steve's appreciation of the 'Orange army'... which they reciprocatid.
Agree, he will be sorely missed but I'm sure that Nicki will do a great job.
A new era.

Great tribute too...so much respect for him.
( And Steve still remained composed afterwards... Just)

Commentators.... Steve Addison & Steve Harvey. biglaughthumbup

Some of this is looking more like a BriSCA event rather than BTCC.

Just caught up on Sunday, that was very nicely done for Steve Rider. Loved Ash letting him draw the reverse grid and then he almost couldn't reach it!!

Felt so sorry for Jake after what had been a super drive in tough conditions in R3. And definitely agree with Dan Lloyd that a sofa and tinnie will be the better option for him during Oulton 2026!

Gonna feel quite weird tuning in next time not to see Mr Rider's cheery face...

Echo that. The Murray Walker of BTCC. Who’s replacing him?

she's easy on the eye, has some form of engineering degree and been involved in car related stuff for quite a while.

If you follow her on insta you'll get slightly aggrieved by the 'look at me and where in the world am I today' posts coupled with her latest fashion choices.

I don't think she's heard of you, either. smile

She's best known as the Formula E pit lane reporter. Been presenting since 2012.

I’ve never understood the and she’s never heard of you either response.
I’m not a tv presenter.
As I find Formula E an abomination it’s not surprising I’ve never heard of her.

She hosts the Goodwood coverage on ITV as well. She knows her stuff.

On the main subject I wonder how much the floor changes forced on the Team Vertu cars will affect their performance? They say it made no difference but other teams disagreed apparently.
