Qualifying was interesting. Ferrari and Jota looking strong. Porsche and Toyota struggling.

I am always slightly cynical that some teams don't want to show their hand too early in the season so as not to get penalised for the more high profile rounds.

I actually find qualifying for WEC races a bit of a pointless exercise,, when you see how certain people drive in the opening laps especially, certainly no real guide to pace in a long race

The Valkyrie looks to be miles off the pace.

Why has autosport stopped reporting results, seems really bad this year.

Gutted, & massively hacked off, that Eurosport is no more.

Apart from giving TNT £30.00 per month is there anywhere else showing today's WEC race?

I couldn't get either of the streams to work on the Discovery+ webpage on my laptop, even though there was the suggestion you were being Grandfathered in with an existing login (free via Sky).

There's also the WEC app but that isn't free either.

It will definitely be a big miss for the series having coverage behind an expensive paywall (as opposed to a fairly cheap paywall with Eurosport)

(There's always free audio coverage from Radio Le Mans)

Just been watching snippets on Facebook and YouTube. Just seen Alex lynn run into the back of jenson button while under caution and in 1st and 2nd 🤦‍♂️ nightmare

The WEC should really be free on You Tube......but we know what the ACO are like........

The race will be free on YouTube at some point in the future.

Happily watching and not paying there are ways chaps, that is all I will say. Imagine being a bike racing, fan, every series now behind a huge TNT paywall, mainly so they can use your dosh to fund billion pound football rights fees.

Ferrari and Cadillac look miles ahead of the rest on pace.

Aston Martin just as far behind.

An uttterly abysmal track for WEC, horrendous off line, awful kerbs, and no way of overtaking other than tyre warm up.

Race was still interesting, but it needs to be 6 hours, no way does that dump deserve a 10 hour race

I noticed that the other week when I was looking for news following the Formula E race. There was no news/results for any of the sessions.

On a weekend when both of the dullest motorsport series are taking place (MotoGP starts, F1 testing), it's probably no surprise the WEC coverage is reduced.
I still don't know why they cover MotoGP, but don't bother with any other 2 wheeled series.......

Big crash at the IMSA MX-5 Cup race at St Petersburg. Missed what happened and no replays yet as a driver is being taken out of a car onto a stretcher.

I think one of the cars dropped fluids and the cars behind it went off into each other and into the barriers.

For the WEC race on TNT sports? If so, yes, there was an ad free stream available.

There were two separate streams. One was on TNT sport 2 (with ads) and an alternative ad free stream.
