Any news about the Ultima GTR ?

The Ultima was 6th in practice this morning, apparently suffering with gearbox problems and an oil leak. Hopefully if they can sort those out it will perform well in qualifying and the race because it seemed to have good pace when it was running at Donington.

yup watched C4's GT prog this morning... the Ult seemed to start last(ish) but carved through the field befire it's all too early retirement

They seem to have got a decent amount of running in the car this weekend so hopefully they have shaken off some of the teething troubles. They have significantly re-engineered the car since last year so it should be on the pace before long!

The team running the car are not related to the factory - I believe the Silver Colin Blower car last year had some connection though.

No sign of Pole-sitting M. Short Mosler.

Looking promising for the Ultima. They were putting in similar times in qualifying yesterday so if they can take that pace into the race they have a good chance.

Its a 2 hour race so I think the winner will be the team that can blend speed, consistancy and reliability the best.

My fear for the Ultima is it's reliability though.
