It's airshow time again so get your pics in.

Here's a few from RIAT 2016 to get this started. I really struggled with the flat grey skies this year though it did brighten up in the afternoon. Hopefully, I'll do better at Farnborough.

I'd have thought that was ideal shooting conditions.

Did arrivals day at Fairford on Thursday and flying legends Saturday neither providing very good backgrounds for photos, not boding well for Farnborough tomorrow either.

I'm not bothering with air shows this year, but here's a small selection from my wee collection.

RIAT Sunday. Amazed to find when I processed my photos that I managed to avoid flat grey skies in an awful lot of shots. Nikon D750 and Nikkor 200-500mm f5.6:

Some really excellent photographs posted on here, especially the belly of the beast pic, the F22 Raptor and the F35 pic. It's just a shame that RAF Finningley is no more!

Seems like I 'need' a 400mm or 500mm lens wink

Cheers. looking at yours and others, I need to put more effort in. I cannot blame the kit. Needed a bit of post processing on that one.

Think the Mig was my favourite as I understand he had to do a lot more work being a less technical aircraft? Commentator was saying something about more hands on in the cockpit, less fly by wire or something. Sure someone can comment on that.
