route suggestions

So I am going from North East London (close to A10) to Tarporley ( very close to Oulton Park) I have all day to do it, and want good roads.
Looking on a Map, the Peak district would look to be good to take in, but I do not know what the speed limits are, and are there loads of speed cams...
Other Routes look like:
A10 --> Hertford --> Hitchin (B656_ --> Bounce around Bedford to A6 --> Kettering --> A6 Market Harbourgh.... --> A4304 (Lutterworth) A5 --> Hincley --> A444 --> Burton on trent --> A50 to Stoke Bypass (A500) to Oulton....
What route would you suggest?

If you fancy the Peak District be aware that Derbyshire is rather fond of 50 limits, (see below).. caterham_lad said:

The A515 has a 50 limit but no fixed speed cameras. Drove it both ways last weekend: no mobile camera or unmarked car/s.
The A54 from Buxton is also a 50 but it has SPECS. Just relax and enjoy the scenery.
If that doesn't appeal, stay on the A50 then A500/A51.
