Planning a Euro trip and considering coming back via ferry out of Bilbao, San Sebastian or Santander.

Worried that clearance on our cars will make it difficult to get on/off the ferry.

Does anybody know answer to this?

Thanks in advance!

Presumably Brittany Ferries. The ramps are wide. Take them slowly at an angle. You won't have a problem - no issues with my 997 GT3

When we took our Modena (slightly lowered) via DFDS, upon booking we specified a slot for a low clearance vehicle so you board with the trucks for the easiest entry and exit. No problems for us.

Perhaps you could try the same for your trip? Contact the ferry people first.

My mate uses this crossing regularly with a TVR Sagaris. Far less clearance than your cars.

You need to be more worried about the Bay of Biscay. Make sure you have plenty of sick bags. Never again for me. Always do the treck through France now.
