UK Road Tunnels

I've been through that one. Although you'll be too busy minding your mirrors and paintwork on the sides of the tunnel than concentrating on making any noise! Its even worse if you go through it at night.
I've been through a similar one, think it was just over 6'6" tall- Didn't realise how low it was before entering but the aerial of my hired transit was bouncing off the roof! The Clyst Honiton Bypass has a nice tunnel under the end of Exeter Airports runway.

Going by the tyre marks I have seen it looks like a few people have been enjoying it!

No mention yet of the best of the lot - Samphire Hoe near Dover , Northbound on the A20. This is where all the chalk/debris from the Eurotunnel boring was dumped to provide an artificial land mass/bird sanctuary. But the best bit - you access it through a very narrow single bore, single lane (traffic light controlled) road that tunnels through the White Cliffs - I guess it's some 600 metres long with a gradient of about 10 %.
Someone has posted an underwhelming video of a Focus ST 170 doing the tunnel on You Tube - gives you an idea but sounds better in a TVR...

A short narrow one a brooks bushes farm under the a 69 at Stocksfield. Maybe iffy access though
Yep, though its only accessible if leaving the Garden centre (nice cafe there!!)If you know where to look, there is a short tunnel under the A1, turn onto the local access road beside the A1 going south and it takes you under the A1, solid concrete tunnel that really echos.

Added the Clyde Tunnel, the first to be added in Scotland. Can't think of any more at the moment...
Tried to add the one on the A890 to Applecross and made an arse of it It doesn't go (and never has gone) anywhere near Applecross
That's 20 miles away - https://goo.gl/maps/1aekRKdCiNR2
The twin road/rail tunnels are on the 'new' 1970s section on the south side of Loch Carron.
Between Attadale and Stromeferry - https://goo.gl/maps/TrWmENXxuBS2

Link doesn't work but I'm guessing it's this one under the Forth & Clyde canal.https://goo.gl/maps/JwDwtcb3oVR2
Many of the map pins are complete rubbish.

As it's a quiet work day today I have tidied up the map and entered every tunnel I can find reference to on Wikipedia and the UK Road Tunnel Association (who knew!)
There are now 59 tunnels marked accurately on the map with a new tunnel logo as the pin.
Hope this is useful to one and all.
Cheers
Alex

Just added two:
Samphire Tunnel - mentioned above (2015) but not apparently added to the map. I've never been through it, but was aware of its existence:
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.1073477,1.279417...
And, this time, one I have been through many times, but not for more than 40 years (!) ... perhaps someone local can confirm whether it is still useable? The Ropewalk tunnel under the railway lines near the centre of Neath, S Wales
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.6607425,-3.80729...

I have no idea how to add those tunnel symbols/markers. Some more:
Another one in Kent. A299 Chestfield Tunnel, Thanet Way - https://goo.gl/maps/Kakc6S3AYR42
If the Hanger Lane Underpass is included, A4 Hyde Park Corner should be as well - https://goo.gl/maps/dnrqxXfmU8D2
A2205 Bermondsey Street, London - https://goo.gl/maps/s49wzaEjns22
Several more in close proximity to that one.
(not sure what length of arch bridge under a railway line qualfies as a tunnel though).
Shand Street, London - https://goo.gl/maps/ok8qbsaHP422
Banham Street, London - https://goo.gl/maps/drvHB1M2epD2
Crucifix Lane, London - https://goo.gl/maps/Qn1e9eQKMNH2
Brunswick Court, London - https://goo.gl/maps/9ksmfScTmjq
The one under the Forth-Clyde Canal near Kirkintilloch is missing.
https://goo.gl/maps/rsJWUrdMguE2
The name of the twin tunnels on the A505 near Baldock is Weston Hills.
Similarly unable to work out how to add to the master map (or even how to access it, to be honest), but I would add the Beech Street tunnel under the Barbican Centre in London

Good for making noise, but a hideous waste of money!!
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-54...
Surely cheaper to buy the neighbouring farm land to make it dual carriageway, build a fly over for the A360 junction, and plant a copse/banking to block the view of Stonehenge?
