What a great car. Only this morning have I read the evo end-of-term review and it is outstanding with the only exception being the usual bmw-m-gripe of braking.
I adore the subtly darkened m-badge. Very, very nice. Personally I would have de-badged it, but I can appreciate what you've done in just the same light.
One word of guidance. I live in the same area as that BMW dealership and recently chose a set of backroads to get into the same town. As I emerged near to the A12 junction closest to that BMW Dealership, two one-series came hooning off of the A12, at near race-speed and proceeded to literally thrash the living day lights out of both cars in a race to the dealership. They both then slowly pulled in.
Never, ever, will I allow a main dealer to service my vehicle.

Affriad to say this is true about main dealers ect.. I know mates who have had videos of audi r8s they have serviced, driving 'spirited' and bmw m3s ect.. Its how it is nowadays. we purchase nice cars and look after them by taking them to main dealers, to get the full main dealer service history and the mechanics see them as a fun road test with alot of umph.

Well my first (and last) bit of carbon fibre turned up today
I'll have to sneak the box past my wife and as I don't think she'll be too impressed with another box joining the pile in the study at home haha!
The BMW Performance alcantara steering wheel was also shipped today so that should be everything I need before it goes in to have the wheels and other bits done. Happy days

If that's the dealer just off the A12 next to a MINI, Mitsubishi and Honda dealer, I can vouch for their appalling levels of customer service and workshop competence.I adore the subtly darkened m-badge. Despite several changes of ownership over the last 15 years, things have never improved.
Well the boxes keep piling up but all of my parts have been delivered now
The N55 pipe should make it sound a little bit more fruity and improve the throttle slightly more.
The Performance Wheel I'm really pleased with. It feels the same thickness as my 1M leather wheel but is much softer and nicer hold. Plus it matches the rest of the alcantara in the car

I can hand on heart say that no technicians would dare or be allowed to go out thrashing cars at our dealership. What you probably saw were two salesman driving their demo's quickly into work.
Do you work at the dealership in question? If so, you might want to do something about the customer service, and if they were salesman driving their demo's, it hardly sets a good image for your dealership, especially that those demo's will soon find their way onto the fourcourt!Anyone for a slightly reduced, yet thrashed ex-demo?.......

That's looking REALLY nice.
I'm not some sort of stick on Chav, but I reckon an homage to the BMW csl cars, ie a carbon (wrapped) roof could look immense, maybe someone could photoshop one of your supplied pictures to give you an Idea.
Other than that, I would say that is approaching road going, day to day perfection in my opinion
great car buddy.......
