Fantastic.

I've got a 1991 Delica L300 which I think is the same vehicle, just with a different body. Sadly mines sat rotting in storage, probably costing more to keep there than it's worth but I love it to death and can't sell/scrap it.

Great work.

Looks fantastic; absolutely worth the effort.

A cursory google implies it could very well be the last one. Even cooler if so.

Hi All
been cracking on with the shoguns interior tidy up and finally got a set of period wolfrace turbovec alloys.
had to settle with a set of 15's the 16' version are extremely hard to find, the alloys are currently away being refurbed.

should look like these once refurbed

love the deep concave look of these old wheels

I removed all the interior trim throughly cleaned and coated the plastics to bring back a slight shine nothing to greasy though.
the carpet was steam cleaned and then re dyed I'm very happy with the result. dye purchased from eBay and sprayed on with a normal spray bottle.
While the seats are out I'm going to shampoo them and make them the best they can be.

The door cards were really bothering me how fluffy they looked, a quick trim with an old pair of hair clippers and they look brand new again...

A fresh pic of the engine bay a few months ago I stripped it and painted the bay black and replaced fixings for new stainless items.

Ive also replaced the rear bumper foot plates for pair that was in better condition whist the bumper was off I treated the insides to stop any further rust and fitted the New Old Stock light guards unfortunately I forgot to grab a pic of those fitted I will get some next time once the wheels are on.
next update should be abit more interesting with the wheels fitted.

This is one of fav PH threads - and it continues...

Love the "shaved" door cards. That's how I do my hair every couple of weeks.

I saw one of these over the weekend - probably not a BB version but it was this "type" - reminded me of this thread. Seemed to be well looked after too.

I'm pinching the door shaving trick.

Are you reinstalling the original seats? My front 'captain's chairs' were knackered so I switched them out for seats from a Smart Roadster as bizarrely they were the only seats small enough to fit.

I'm jealous of that steering wheel by the way. Mine's leather and not OG wood frown

No the seats are staying the reason being similar seats were offered as part of the upgrade package by BBR they can be seen in a few of the old articles on them
Thanks all for the comments wheels are back today from refurb and should be on by the weekend

That looks fantastic, you've really finished it off with those wheels. Very smart.

I hope it can go to someone else who appreciates it and is able to look after it, there can't be many (any?) of these left in such good condition.

Would make a lovely addition to a collection somewhere. I would hate to see this thing run into the ground after so much time and effort spent on keeping it alive.

Sold on eBay for £5,200 - which is a slight improvement over my purchase & sale performance; did consider buying it back but I think I've had my time with it. The really good news about that sale result is that it should now be saved for the future. Good luck to the new owner, whoever you are; and update the thread!
