Love this, was it one of the new repro shells? Looks great quality!
No, this was an original shell.

(I'm the OP, but have changed name and profession since original post)

This was before the brand new shells. So started as an original car and didnt need an IVA

When this thread first started, I could only dream of owning one. Now I seem to be a lucky boy.

I've actually just bought a 270bhp Duratec to go in there. I'm sourcing a sequential box at the moment.

It has currently got a 2 litre Zetec with the full retro BDA kit. It's also running a straight cut type 9, AP front and rear brakes, Fully floating atlas, Bilsteins all round, carbon boot and bonnet.

Its a Saarlouis shell built in 1976 and was a Czech car for some time until turning up in Denmark. The rules on modified cars over there are as such that it couldn't be road legal(!). I picked it up and got it uk registered. It doesn't have a log book yet, but I will rally it with the new engine and box.

The shell looks as good as new, someone spent A LOT of money on it - not me thankfully. The car is basically brand new inside and out.
