Nice smile
Apexi is good, easy remapping to get flames out the back!
Are you running standard sequential turbo setup, or a single? SMIC or FMIC?
Oh, and if you decide you need a new exhaust, PM me, I've got a stainless twin RB style in my garage with wankel shaped tips smile

Engine will be standard for the time being, only things that will be done is upgrades to the cooling system and probably a decat.

Thanks for the offer on the exhaust but have my eyes set on a GReddy Ti smile

Well.....I had to sell my Tuscan to increase the deposit on our house so I think we are even......I hope

Well turns out someone is selling a full set of suspension arms that have been sandblasted are are ready for painting.

Will be picking these up if they have not already been sold and then replacing the bushes in them over time. At least it means I can keep the car on the road whilst I do the work smile

Not sure what colour to go for, thinking either a blue or possibly gold colour.

Very nice. 99-spec front end and rear wing really is the best look.

I was looking at that suspension set earlier, fantastic price. If I didn't already have a lot to spend this month I would have had those.

Be careful with straight through pipes, you'll not be doing any trackdays. Greddy stuff isn't quiet. The droning in the car will get tired very quickly. When I bought mine it had a tiny centre box fitted (which i still have somewhere) and by the time i got home from picking it up I'd vowed to replace it.

I bought the biggest I could find from Japan. R-Magic I think, from NewEra Parts. Even with that I wasn't going to Bedford; black-flagged on the first corner and half-throttled all day.

In fact I think I still have a virtually new one in the shed; due to the V8 they won't fit any more. Let me dig out some details.

If you're decatting, worth making sure you've got the right map. The engine runs a MAP rather than MAF, so easy to run lean if you upflow too much! Also make sure you've got something other than the standard water temp gauge. It's really centre weighted, so only serves to tell you why you've just broken down!

Found it. Its a FEED Sonic mid-pipe.

Bought from Japan, and used once. I had two of them and burnt the guts out of one of them. I ordered this one then. Ended up putting it on for a week or two, then got the other one cut open and rebuilt and put it back on and ran it until the car got the V8.

So its virtually unused and was £360 new. Its the biggest centre box you can get I think, the box itself is 18 inches long. Anyway, let me know if interested.

Well sadly it turns out the GReddy is a single piece exhaust and its going to cost £350 to ship!!

So been looking about and found the HKS Carbon Ti, it looks like an old Carbon Can Co silencer from my Tuscan so it instantly has a thumbs up from me smile

Plus its 1/3 of the price so this means more monies to spend on handling/engine upgrades.

Ooooor I could just say fk it and get a decat and remap lol

FWIW I'd probably go for an intercoler upgrade before a decat; I used to get terrible heatsoak with mine in slow traffic; then when the traffic finally cleared the intake temperatures would be too high to use the power for a few hundred yards frown

Good shout, I want to keep the A/C so will probably just end up changing the SMIC rather than going V mount

Ha ha, I started to put in a comment about needing to make sure the A/C is tip top, then deleted it 'cos I didn't want to give you a downer if you haven't got one! Gets really hot in there in the summer traffic...

Picked up the suspension arms today. Some of the bushes look ok but then some need changing for sure.

Will be going for powerflex ones so ill probably be better off changing the lot.

Going to paint the arms gold for a little bit of bling......not that you'll ever get to see it.

Forgot to add would you paint the arms before or after the bushes are removed?
