Yaaaay! I have binned the horrid and shiny radio and replaced it with a posh looking Blaupunkt.

Which cars are you keeping BV? I've lost track of what's gone or going.

Good luck with the sale.

Another person who rarely posts but greatly enjoys your contribution. For those of us who have to justify our obsession (often to ourselves) it is refreshing to hear about your automotive escapades and the lengths that you are willing to go to drive around daily in vehicles most of us relegate to the garage and tinker with.
I for one hope we havent heard the last of your adventures and look forward to the next instalment.

Regards

I may keep the Lotus although that would require storing it somewhere.

This weekend I drove it 500 miles without a blip.

Arrrrgh - the driver's door feels like it is falling off. It was fine until yesterday, but today something had popped out. The door sags, and is out at the front edge. Visually the nuts and hinges etc look the same as on the passenger side, which isn't broken, so I can't see the bit that has gone wrong. Anyone ever fixed such a thing?

Other than a shiny new sign, it hasn’t changed since I left in October 1995....
