Experiencing steering wheel wobble at 50-70 mph. Could this be wheel alignment or wheel bearings or something?

More likely an unbalanced wheel. ttted a curb lately? For wheel bearings get the front wheels off the ground and check for play top and bottom.

Will likely be a weight has fallen off

Has happened to me.

Glad the car is going well so far -
Invest in some tyre shine next time you wash the car laugh

I will! Would look so much better, I agree.

Didn't realise the weights were so important.

I will sell it for the 'right' price (currently asking for £4500). Much less than that and I'd rather just keep it. Need to get on the property ladder at some point, then can get back to indulging in cars. Problem with this 9-5 is it's too thirsty to do any more than 10k miles p/a, could do with a daily driver or LPGing this if I were to keep it.

Just working out total build cost, around £8400; Someone would be getting a bargain.

Decided to keep it, too much hard work and money has gone into it, and just moved closer to work so fuel costs aren't an issue at all. Next job is to get the windows tinted, then in July respray the updated rear bumper, fit SAS ARBs and bigger brakes.

Following that, I've got one spare gearbox in the garage, so hopefully these two boxes will see me through another couple of years of boosting around and then will get one of these:

I knew you wouldn't sell it. Too much money and time gone into it. I've decided to invest some money into my suspension and brakes as they're not quite up to the job at 3 figures.

Which setup you getting? B12s are great but sometimes wish they were a little stiffer on b roads. I'm hoping ARBs help as the body roll is still there. How's yours running any plans for more tuning or are you busy with the Caterham? Which brakes you looking at? I've been recommended these:

Took the Saab to have the wheels checked for missing weights, turns out they were all still intact confused

Turns out the tyre was ready to explode! Not sure if this is a Nottingham term but it had a 'bleb', allegedly normally caused by potholes. Perhaps it was from a recent B road blast.

Nipped down the road and picked up a used tyre with about 5 mm tread on it for £40, so should see me through to next MOT.

Drives smooth as silk again now smokin

Finally an RHD strut brace for the 9-5 that isn't a big bend! Not a bad price either:

Like you I am in need of a Quaife next. Power wise I am happy. For now lol. Defo need some uprated arbs too.

Out of interest how to the Bilstein B8s compare to your B12s? I find it very stiff.

Hope you like and keep up the good work.

Thanks Jimbo, your 9-5 is absolutely incredible!!! Those wheels are unreal, would absolutely love a set in gunmetal but they're so expensive. Also not seen a 9-5 in that colour, you need to upload pics of it to Saab Nuts on Facebook, it'll break the internet haha.

Sounds like you've really got the best out of the 15t, that's a great figure, and I bet it spins up really quickly.

B12s are 'revalved' B8 shocks with Eibach springs. Which springs are you running?

300ish bhp is plenty in these 9-5s, so next mods, which I aim to carry out in July, will focus on handling and driveability:

1)

Brand new Saab 9-5 gearbox with the latest updates and reinforced collapsible sleeve

Equipped with Saab/GM Torsen differential (Partnr: 01-QDH9395), a torque-biasing limited slip differential allowing for better traction under acceleration and cornering.

The gearbox has been built with tighter tolerances for better durability.

Will fit:

Saab 9-5 - 98-10 Manual ( Models between 04-10 will need shift linkage Partnr:105164108)

Available with final gear ratio 3:82 or 4:05 - https://www.maptunparts.com/transmission-system/ge...

2)

SAS 9-5 all models 98'-09' Uprated 25/22mm ARB/Sway Bar Kit

http://www.partsforsaabs.com/product_info.php?prod...

3)

Resprayed updated rear bumper:

4)

Big brake kit, possibly a 314mm conversion. What are the Maptun brakes like? They look ruddy awesome!

Ha thanks. I have an issue with brake judder atm bt I am seeing a brake specialist on Tuesday so hopefully will have that sorted soon. The brakes are very very good but because of the judder problem I haven't really lent on them since I bought the car in January. I've been busy sorting little jobs.

New front drop links
New tyres
Replacement dimming door mirror glass

Gonna get the front end sprayed up (stone chips) either August whilst I'm away or leave it until the winter when I may get a snotter to run around in.

The car was set up very well by Neo Bros. Yes 310-320 is tops for a standard 15T but the car is very healthy. Spins up very quickly which does kinda put me off going hybrid/bigger turbo in the future. As it is the car only really comes into its own at naughty speeds.
I'm running eibach springs.

I need another dyno run as I do not know the torque.

Yes I do like the colour. Very rare.

If you do find a dyno, make sure it's a Maha so we can compare like for like, would be interesting to see.

My 19t made 315 bhp 388 lb ft on its first run with boost issues, then on the next run it made 342 bhp and 384 lb ft, more recently it made 319 bhp 374 lb ft, all on the same dyno. Seems to be pulling like it's back at around 330-340 now, feels really lively.

I think the 19t is generally hard to control, not sure why though.

Karl reckons that because the 19t is SO hard to control, on a dyno the revs rise too quickly and this can cause the ECU to hold back, so on the road the car is normally making an extra 10 or so hp.
