I really like these cars, yours looks fantastic with the small changes you've made.

Do these have a mechanical LSD as standard??

Cheers,

As a Renaultsport fan I just do not understand why there aren't more of these fantastic machines on the road. That's ace!

Is it Capsicum red like the Clio Trophy?

I'm with you on this as I cannot understand why a car that's rated as highly as these and which, quiet frankly can be had pretty darn cheap (mine all in owes me about £16k inc car) aren't more popular. only thing I can imagine is people are afraid of the Renault badge but they are missing out!!! I was giving much more exotic cars hell at nurburgring its just perfect.

Wish they did the new Model in red. The wheels look great. I'll be after a spare set with some sticky rubber. The federal 595rsrvhave been great on my e36 m3. Dead cheap and have held up well.

Missing out indeed! 250/265/275 are awesome as are pretty much all renault sport models - FUN cars, I love them. Yours looks like a weapon!

Cracking car mate!

I have one in the same spec but white.

What are specs of the wheels? If you don't mind me asking, seems really hard to find after market wheels that will fit.

Hi buddy I also had a white Rs250 with forged engine and gtx2867 but sold it a few months ago.

My road wheels are only 18x7.5 et 42 but are rare as hell so will be staying put.

Track wheels are temporary atm and are 18x8 et45 but I will be running 17x9 ats gtr wheels too allow 255 tyres

Thanks for the reply mate, I will keep a lookout for wheels with a similar offset here in good old NZ.

People say they want a good drivers car, in reality they buy soft touch plastics and a badge the neighbours will like.

Great car OP, the wheels suit the car too.

A video from one of my laps at the ring in September. Only done 14-15laps so far but an 8.24 shows how capable the car is.

I find a 172/182 too small... and don't like the newer 197/200 Clios.

Previous generation Megane looks crap IMO, but I think this shape (with the right colour & options) looks good... however, how reliable are they? Is there a decent amount of headroom to allow for mods and extra power before the engine & transmission start living on borrowed time??

I'm not a badge snob, but when it comes to anything French, I have badge fear!! laugh

That video is great, is that your red car or white car??

Cheers,
Grant

Engine wise mines 312bhp 353lbs torque and turbo is pretty much at its most around that. I do have 630cc and awaiting hybrid turbo so I'll be looking at 360bhp 370lbs torque on stock engine
