So this morning I picked up a passenger driveshaft as mines been clicking and got straight down to my pals garage to get it fitted. The inner joint was knackered and the outer had dried right up so need one in and bosh the car now feeling great and no more horrible noises.

Cars had
Front discs
2 Driveshafts
Drop links
Anti rotation links
Wheel bearings
Rear discs and pads
And feels great but as you'll see below she could really really do with corner weighting just to balance things out. The specs are with half tank of fuel and without me in it

Great thread, thanks for the updates.

With the weight distribution thing, have you had a look at where your battery is?

Relocating it to the boot might help your front to rear balanace but also the front left to right balance too.

What is the book weight figure on these out of interest?

Battery is my best job it's know front left and is pretty hefty so a light weight battery in the boot would be nice. Book weights about the same so 1380kg ish

Not much been going on cars not going anywhere haha. Last year car was insane I must say renaults get so much stick for reliability but this car *touchwood* has done in my ownership 17 track days 3 trips to the ring and 26k miles and has been nothing short of spectacular. As with all performance cars it's not cheap to keep perfect but it's had done whatever it's needed and as such repaid me with some massive smiles.

This year I plan on much of the same so many track days and ring trips. I've booked spa for Oct 2nd and hope to do dn17 track day at nurburgring on may 2nd and should be at Snetterton on 28th January.

Plans this year? Not much cars pretty much perfect but I have front and rear anti roll bars and bushes to be fitted and I'll be ordering g some stiffer 110/170 front springs and who knows what wheels I go through.

May this year brings many more miles with smiles

Not way I love the feel of the oem wheel now it's been done in alcantara, I like that the cars still close to being something that Renault could have sold

Loving the Megane! I will hopefully soon be looking for a fun car/trackday toy and never really thought about a Megane but seeing yours and how much these go for I'm sorely tempted.

Whats the best forum to get onto to get the lowdown on mods, spec etc?

RSMegane.com is a good start, I've just bought an R26 Meg and have spent some time on there researching and buying parts. Meganesport.net is another good one and they have a lively Facebook group too.

Left the car with friends of mine to modify my turretts to allow camber adjustment to be done without dropping the suspension every time (damn you renault) he's added a ring and welded it all up for strength and to keep it looking as oem as possible
