some of you may remember previous Mondeo taxi threads, with my many mile Mondeo,

well she now has a new baby sister to keep her company.

its a 2016 Mondeo Titanium, running a 2l tdci 150 engine.

This one will be hopefully clocking up somewhere in the region of 100k a year for the next 5 years

currently completely standard, and if your one of those pesky meddling types that like to report people to licencing authorities for example she'll be staying that way

err that doesn't count as a mod does it smile

passed her taxi inspection this morning all well and will be out earning her keep tomorrow.

First impressions are how rattle free it is compared to the mk4.5, how high she sits(which I honestly wont be doing anything about smile) and how annoying the gloss black interior trim is, had it a couple of hours and its a complete ust magnet.

Bookmarked. Looking forward to the updates, for a reason that's not entirely clear to me.

Will be a very boring thread covering nothing more than routine maintenance and some location shots

As long as you tell us about the modifications you definitely haven't done then we'll be fine.

That's a shame - obviously someone got rubbed up the wrong way frown

Love to hear the life of a high mileage driver. Even "at the garage getting new tyres, like I was 6 weeks ago" is interesting!

Custom stickers ftw

First impressions it's torquey more than a stock mk4.5 and not far off a mapped one (not that I would know)
It's quiet supposedly 3db quieter at motorway speeds than a 3 series
And it's HUGE thank god it's got sensors

edit upside down left handed phototaking ftl frown

just fancied a new toy,

she's sitting on 310k miles now, and despite a heavy maintenance regime she is feeling tired.

YC - Get her from Leeds?

I can't work out the new Mondeo DRL situation (sad I know) - some have LEDs in the headlights, some in the fogs and some just have halogen bulbs? Also saw one with sweeping front indicators, ala Audi

yep, Ringway ford in Leeds.

the DRLs are down to if the car has the LED lights or not, LED lights, DRLs in the headlights, standard headlights, fitted into the fogs
