Huge thread revival here but worth it if it saves just one poor soul buying one of these. I had one of these for a month and it has to be said it is the worst hot hatch I have ever had. The reviews at the time were middle of the road but I found compared to any of its rivals it was the worst by far.

Suffice to say I have soon got shot of it, unreliable TSI thermostat issues that were topped off by poor handling and no driver appeal at all. Just a fast-ish polo nothing more.
