Life with an XJ220
Discussion
So to appease everyones thoughts regarding old school supercars and unreliability etc. Myself and a bunch of friends decided to drive from the UK to Geneva to experience the motorshow. It's been a bit of an annual pilgrimage the past few years, however for one reason or another, the XJ220 hasn't joined the trip. This year was her year.
Long and short of it, I collected the car, met the gang in London and proceeded to drive from Central London to Geneva, via Spa, the Ring, Molsheim (pic) and into Geneva... and back. Not a peep, wiggle or wobble the whole trip. She was incredible on the motorways, engaging on the country roads and mighty everywhere else.
The perfect GT car for the week.

Amazing car and great thread!
I follow MrJWW on YouTube and it was great to see it appear on there for the Geneva trip. I hope you don't mind me leaving the links here. Not sure if YouTube links are still allowed are they? I'm a bit rusty on the forums now. Any problem from Phil or moderators then I'll delete them.

Well done Phil, you have a nice life. Fair play to you.

I had two (main large) posters on my wall as a kid, one was a Bugatti EB110 and the other an XJ220.
The EB110 was brute force in a tiny shell.
The XJ220 was beauty and elegance and the stuff dreams it looked like it was in the outside lane of one of those speed bowls doing 200mph even when stationary.
I've bookmarked this thread for a proper read when I get the chance.
