Great car :-)

I often saw your M5 on my commute along the A45 - must keep an eye out for the new beast.

Love that. People are agape when you run something like that, but don't really appreciate that it costs less to buy than their diesel golf hehe

Is the car a CL600 then with the 5.5 engine or the CL65 with the 6.0?
The clue is in the thread title. CL600.
But badged as a CL65. Just checking.

It looks awesome.

Gah so it is, OP hope that CL65 badge was the first thing to go.

Interesting read. That is a LOT of car for the money. £120k new! Phew.

How does the infra-red night-tiem component work? Is it of great use, or simply a toy?

M5 to CL600... what a hero!

i loved your E60 and followed it on your build thread on here, it was actually yours on those LMs that persuaded me to start looking for one this summer! i ended up with a C63 but don't regret it at all as i love the torque and noise.

Your CL looks perfect and needs nothing - and i don't usually like silver cars but i think it suits the big classy body of the CL down to a T!

Congrats and enjoy.

I agree! When I saw the pics before purchasing, I wasnt keen by the look of the walnut but believe me it looks better in reality

Very comfy - even with the lowering! I guess its down to the air ride suspension

Wow awesome. Though needs to loose the fake badges IMO.

Didn't you fancy an E63 OP? 4 doors like the m5, but that 5.5 Bi turbo v8 is a complete monster. Or are they a little over the budget?

Pretty sure you'd be adding £10k to the cost of this 600 to get into a Biturbo e63.

Yeah, cheapest after a quick ebay is like 28k. If they drop below 20k there going to be an awesome performance bargain.

An absolute gorgeous set of cars there chap! That M5 looked the absolute business but similarly liking the new Merc. Don't see many of these about tbh.

Any plans for the new motor?

Lovely ballistic missile armchair smile

Looks the part even 10 years on. Back from the days where things weren't square with random lines everywhere!
