Thanks for your interest!

I wasn't surprised by the initial reaction to the Ply wood but I knew what I had in my mind and I know it will work!!

I have posted something on the Z4 forum about this but it was on my progress thread so I don't think it's had much attention.

I'm awaiting to hear back from 2 places regarding them manufacturing this for me using my Ply template. Once I know prices I'll let you know. I did think these would be popular if they can be bought for under £200... currently the CF option is over £300 and imo not as smart / OEM looking.
google a company called unique customs, he made me a splitter for my z3 for very little money

Thank you! I've seen your Z3 and I emailed them on Tuesday. Not heard anything back yet but I'll call them next week (first week after new year they're probably manic!)

.....as the plywood?????

Just kidding, I'll reserve judgement until you get one made. I don't see why it wouldn't work I; they made a good job of it.

Side repeaters look much better.

rofl

It's the way the CF one sticks out, it just looks very after market where as I want something BMW Performance OEM looking!

I'm not rushing with the splitter, I'm in the process of drawing a detailed diagram of it to send to a company who use CAD to CNC cut sheet plastic. I've got circa 4 people interested in one so I might get them to make mine then a further 5. I'm hoping they'll cost less than £150 and for that, if they look half as good as I hope I'm sure I'll be ordering more!

Had a great day at Brooklands yesterday!

I followed the 918 in to the event and had the 458 Speciale behind me so sorry if I ruined any car spotters pics!!

Took a few pics...

Probably my favourite car...

1250bhp Twin Turbo...

I think we must of spent too long looking around the museums as the Sports Car paddock was empty when we got back!!

Got a nice picture of mine and my dads car...

Great day!

Thank you!

Someone took a nice picture of me entering...

Just out of pure curiosity... how much would you normally spend on buying the HD version of a photo that someone has taken and for them to email it to you?

I charge people around £10.00 for a hi-res digital photo. Thats after some editing etc. I beleive thats quite cheap and whenver people ask me for a hi-res I never get frowned upon.

For that photo, of you driving in I'd pay no more than £5-10 max

I know photographers have their price but to me it looks unedited and theres not even been a CPL used. Just my opinion of course

Sounds a bit cheap to me! I'd be willing to pay up to £25 for that picture, but obviously I'm no professional and that would only be if it was my car!

Hi all,

Had the Eibach springs fitted today, really pleased (although I'm hoping the front settles and drops a bit more!).

I also had Uniroyal Rainsport 3's fitted in a 235/35 front (originals were 225) and 255/35 rears (originals were a 30 profile which was ridiculous).

Even with the larger tyres im not getting any rubbing.

The ride is perfect. It feels more progressive, less crashy, but firmer and less roll in corners.

I never wanted a big drop, just subtly lower the front and not the rear so much. (These are meant to be a 15mm front and 5mm rear drop).

I want to look at some spacers now to finish the look off.

Did you get any further with the remap? I've got a F31 328i, so am interested.

Thanks.

I've not as yet. I'm debating getting a RaceChip tuning box, I think it's £400 and claims 60bhp increase but I'm guessing it will be close to 40bhp. I'm just worried about it running lean and blowing up.

Proper remaps are £600+ and I'm not sure I can justify over £500 (I know it's only £200 more but it's the fact it's more than £500!) for 40bhp.
