Enjoying the build. What's the POR15 like to apply and, if you've used it before, does it last?
It's very thick so you get through a lot of it and it's a bit pricey. The tin I had was for another project and had extra pigment in so was a bit of an extravagance for something you won't see. It sets very hard and seems to chemically bond with the metal. I imagine even blasting it off would be a PITA. ChocolateFrog said:

Looks good, you're certainly doing the job properly. I've got my eye on a new California but as a one car family it's a bit on the big side sadly.
I rented one for the weekend, it's a viable alternative to actually owning one. I would love one though so I'm keenly watching these conversion threads.Bungleaio said:

They are very nice. Unfortunately my pockets don't go quite that deep.
This is why I bang the drum for the big Japanese import MPVs. Maybe not quite as big as a SWB Transporter or Caravelle - but they're cars, not commercials, so drive a lot better - and, best of all, you get a whole load more for your cash.We bought our 58k mile old Alphard, added LPG and a rear kitchen camping conversion (with gas, water and split-charge system with mains hook-up) for under £12k.
