Incredible value for money. I think the facelift models still look very nice.

I tried M3 mirrors on one of mine but I didn't keep them on because they didn't tie in with anything else on the car - I think the original mirrors look better. Personal preference obviously.

I personally prefer the pre-facelift 3 series, I still think they are the best 3 series ever made, I've never gelled with our E91 Touring, in fact I drove it today and just feels heavy and dull.

Anyone else noticed there are nowhere near the amount of E91's compared to E46 cabs ?

I didn't think that CSL reps would work on an E46 other than the M3. However, I was wrong as that looks great thumbup

As I said before, I did used to own a pre-facelifted blue 330 E46, but regretted selling it. This time I wanted a facelift version so that it felt like I wasn't completely going backwards.. but I actually think they look more aggressive.

Due to Photobuckets new crappy 3rd party hosting policies, most of my thread is rubbish now, but to update, the car started like this....

Admittedly some of the mods are not for everyone, but it's definitely very much how I style my cars.

In addition to the exterior mods, I have added a Sony bluetooth hands free stereo, new control arm bushes (lollipop bushes), sorted 2 nasty oil leaks and 2 broken breather pipes have been replaced, plus a new alternator belt, new expansion tank and top hose, plus auto gearbox thermostat, and of course the all important MOT was passed.

Overall, I'm loving this car, it's worth spending money on and maintaining. I really want an E46 M3 next, so will keep this until that day comes.

That does look lovely on those wheels. I'm still not sure I'm going to keep mine past the end of the year - I have a hankering for a V8 and more power...

It's hard to beat an E46 lowered on some nice wheels, heres my pre-facelift 330 coupe. Not bad for 164k miles.

Yeah, me too. I'd have a newer 3 series to be fair though in M3 guise if I could afford to.

Have you have any issues with the usual 0171/0174/0313 codes bringing the EML on? Had it come up a few times now but I can't find any cracks in the usual lower intake hose, not had any misfires or the car stalling so doesn't seem like the CCV system is an issue.

But after 5 weeks of nothing I've had the damn thing come on again today? Really can't be arsed to get all the inlet removed but seems like that will have to happen.
