Amazing looking car for 150k miles.
So good to see a GT3 that has been used rather than get transported everywhere & left to simply 'look good'.
Clearly it is going to some serious use this coming race/track day season so looking forward to seeing some regular updates.

How easy is it to refresh the wheel?
It's pretty easy....they're are companies like Royal Steering Wheels who'll retrim the wheel for you & in some instances can send you a retrimmed wheel to swap for your existing steering wheel & you then send your old wheel back without losing the use of your car.Do you find you treat it differently buying one that's already seen some proper use rather than a low mileage garage queen?
I do like to see cars like this being used, however I get too precious about my own cars so try to avoid car parks etc. My old BMW 645 did 1500 miles last year because I have a utility car for winter and bikes in summer, I worry that if I bought something really amazing I'd end up not using it at all!

Yes, I do. I mean, I still look after it well but I'm just not afraid to pile on the miles now or get it dirty. All the other cars I've owned in my life have been very low mileage garage queens so it's really refreshing not having to be OCD for a change!I do like to see cars like this being used, however I get too precious about my own cars so try to avoid car parks etc. My old BMW 645 did 1500 miles last year because I have a utility car for winter and bikes in summer, I worry that if I bought something really amazing I'd end up not using it at all!
Hi Luke..I've just seen your GT3 advertised on PH and am wondering why it's for sale after reading your thread?? Any info would really help, I've spoken to the dealer about it and tried doing some research and talked to my local porsche specialist and I love it BUT it is the mileage putting me off.
Best regards

Brilliant. I'd love to hear the story from the previous owner.
I'm hoping it's a guy who worked for it all his days and then at 60+ thought 'fk it' and did big miles on a Porsche GT3 just for the joy of driving.
The OP must have only done a couple of hundred miles in it at most.I'm hoping it's a guy who worked for it all his days and then at 60+ thought 'fk it' and did big miles on a Porsche GT3 just for the joy of driving.
It's only 17k cheaper than one with 110000 miles less, I'm usually a big fan of high milers but unless you're piling another 100000 on it then it doesn't make much sense.
I am guessing he hedged his bets to use it for a short while and get it out of his system with no loss on selling. On top of that he does not want to pay out for stuff going wrong outside of the soon to end warranty.
Was it ever a keeper after the feel good factor of buying a perceived bargin???
