As a counterpoint, my 5 year old fits in the rear seat behind me when I'm driving, but only with a small gap between her feet and my seat. I'm 5'11" and she's quite tall too. And yes, getting the kids (2 and 5, both in forward-facing seats) into their seats in the Panda is easier than installing them in my BMW with lower roofline. Thanks

Do they do yoga or are you into origami??!I could probably squeeze mine behind but I'd be cramped against the wheel.

I'm considering one of these for my short commute to work and for dropping the kiddy off at day care. Couple of questions: How's the ride height over speed bumps? My 320d ED is low and scrapes a lot.

We considered one of these when replacing my wife's mk1 Ka. Too little room in the back, same with Audi A1. We got a Fabia instead. Great car, great 1.2 Tsi engine. Nothing to report really, except it makes me need a pee every time I drive it. I still enjoy it but its bumpy and quite unrefined. Keep looking at Clio 197's but the running costs would be quite a bit more, and what more would I get?!

I had not looked that hard to be honest, I tried to stick it back on with a bit of glue but its still wobbly. Ideally I wanted to replace it with a genuine 100HP knob but they are silly expensive, so I went for a Stilo one instead.

All I've done it repaint the top insert silver, but if your's is in good nick you can easily swap it over.

I've always liked these Panda 100hp's. They've got a real quirky charm to them. However, i'm really not sure i could looking past a Renaultsport Clio for one. It probably wouldn't be a 197 though and more like a 172/182.Yes, it probably will cost a bit more, maintenance wise. Especially with the expensive cambelt, auxiliary belt and dephasher pulley bill. However, the performance is in a completely different league and they come very well specced as standard (bar the Cup models).
I do seem to come back to these and cars like the Swift Sport, Ignis Sport, Twingo 133 and other warm-hatches. I've always wanted a fast Clio though so i almost always end up coming full-circle
