i think they do but are rare, the ones that are for sale will be Chinese knockoffs, only buy a proper borg or garret, that is why getting a hybrid is usually cheaper and better value.

750 for a brand new turbo that would bolt on isn't bad value.

Hi OP. Just found this thread - I've got one as well. My favourite car to be honest it's slow as slow can be (I've got the auto box). I got it to cart the dogs around so I've resisted the urge to modify it. Your thread isn't helping.

What style wheels do I have? I've buckled one and need a replacement.

should be when i looked into it max should be 230-240 without any other mods.

the thing is it might not be enough a decent hybrid will be 250-260 then you start proper modding you get to 300bhp but i think for some 1.8t it is too much. 250 bhp is safe bet.

i would keep looking join audi sport ask question someone might have a hybrid for sale. Changing the turbo is a piece of cake once you remove the under bolt on the manifold, there is a guide on audi sport as well i think.

I'm 110% sure they are replicas.

Thanks. It's the perfect car to be honest - it instantly turns me into a little old man when I drive it. Leave it in auto, stick the dogs in the back and off I go.
It's even got the horrible fake walnut trim. biggrinbiggrin

Keeping an eye on yours to see where you get it to.
Cheers.

there are some kits the information is on the web for resistance but i'm sure you can disable in vagcom, i never got the resister to work. I used to just stick a sticker over the light.
