That's my old Fiat Coupe 16v Turbo on the front cover, I lent them the car for the photo shoot in 2001.
I didn't think it unreasonable that they might let me have a copy of the book. The reality was not even a gritted thank you and a flat refusal to a copy of the book even at a discount.
I reluctantly bought one, cancelled my AutoItalia subscription and haven't attended one of their days since.
Can't believe you've undone nearly 20 years of counselling by resurrecting this.

(If you want a pricey book, look for a copy of the Guy Croft Twin Cam bible)

Mate, what sort of question is that? It's fking terrible. Don't rub it in. He's made a mess. He's 'fessed here. It's bad. It's really bad.

The damage 'might' be minimal, but that's not the point. It's fking bad.

Useful tip - Amazon is not the only show in town. Used book aggregator site Addall has books from all over the world, often cheaper than Amazon, and you can sort by title, author, or keyword and then put in order of price. This is where I found this one, not quite the cheapest but should be a safe buy smile
Abe books is my go-to site for second hand books.
It's basically a network of secondhand bookshops, so I can search on there and usually find a local supplier, which saves time and postage costs.

Here's the one Justin Case found (I searched for Aurelio Lampredi):

https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=...

The cover :

Two copies, one for $40 USD, one for $96 USD.

Thanks! Abe Books is indeed a useful site.

I will post up a pic of the scratch when it gets light. I am not emotional about it. I like cars lots, but they are only metal and they can be fixed.

The evil twin of my car above is beig sold for £0, so yaaay!

That is absolutely not the way these things are dealt with old fruit. Don't bring that British(/Irish?) phlegm here, this is Latin-temperament-territory. I want arm-waving and raised voices. And then an espresso and a fag.

ay?

GREGORY
No.

SAMPSON
No, sir, I do not bite my thumb at you, sir, but I
bite my thumb, sir.
