Speaking from the Heathen North I can't add much to the discussion or proceedings except to say thank you for sharing and keep up the good work. You're clearly enjoying what you're doing which is a bonus to the good-work side of it all.

I too have sent an Instagram request (@rickhaynes).

Epic collection and huge shoutout for the charity work.

If you do a charity car event with passenger rides etc count me in, I can provide a lightly modded Evo 8 in case there are any JDM fans!

Nice to find a thread that's a cut above the usual PH sillyness.

2manycars, do any of the HyperCars not interest you - just curious.
Depends what you class as hypercars. He's bought an LFA (which definitely fills some criteria) and is on the look out for a one-77, which surely has to count as a hypercar?

2MC. What an excellent thread., I've have just read it from start to finish. What a great car collection! I love the M2 and the Porsche 911. The LFA looks great.
You are a inspirational man, with raising money for charities and your bravery coping with your illness. also offering people rides in your cars very kind.
I wish you continued good health and good luck with the fundraising. You are a gentleman, shame there are not more people like you. smile
Philip.

Yes simply amazing thread. I thought donating £10 a month to the Air Ambulance covered my charitable requirements but now I'm feeling it's a little reserved and I should up it!

If you're feeling charitable can I have your long lost 250 for my father please? "Here you go dad! Merry Christmas! A ferrari 250 GTE logbook and key. Now get your coat on, we need to go and find the car!". Hahaha what an amazing scenario.

Many people would LOVE to see your LFA doing charity passenger rides at The Supercar Event next year. It's over fathers day weekend normally and is just a fabulous day. Here's a link. http://thesupercarevent.com/

Please keep posting!

Hi everyone
Sorry I’ve not replied to a few of your emails and not been on here for a few weeks, it’s been a busy time.
I’ve had people who haven’t paid for their items they bid for at the charity event I hosted, so I’ve been chasing them down. I’ve also given the PH inspired car charity event a serious thought and I think I’ll definitely organise it for next summer.
In preparation of the upcoming event I went ahead and I’ve just purchased a 1965 Silver Birch DB5 which legally became mine this afternoon. So that’s good.
Anyway, hope everyone is still looking forward to seeing the LFA. It’s just being detailed at Topaz then it’ll be sent my way sometime before Xmas.

Anyway, here’s a picture of the new addition

Cheers
Pete

Ah, the old "ignore the post, attack the poster" trick thumbup

Tesla are gifting, not selling.

Anyone can take a Merc, bolt some Panasonic batteries on the side, and spank billions of other people's money on it.

Anyone who has been to Silicon Valley in recent months will have heard the phrase...

"Elon can make everything but a profit"...

Honestly no need to apologise. It’s a terrible disease and one that should have been erased years ago. I see how it effects people and how hard it is on their families. I can’t begin to imagine what your father in law must be going through.
Glad you’re enjoying the thread and keeping busy with your new manifold.
All the best
Pete
