Just spent two days reading through this whole thread after it was linked from the front page, a thread that goes a long way to restoring faith in humanity and Internet forums.
Awesome to see a rich man want to buy a bunch of rare and exotic cars and enjoy sharing them with others, but sad to hear the story behind it all - thread read through with smiles and tears in pretty equal measures.
On the original subject of the thread, a dealer near me in Dubai also has an LFA for sale. He’s wanting a pretty penny for it though, advertised at £460k at current exchange rates. And it’s brown with orange inside - but does only have 1700km on it.

I think £460k for that isn't too bad value tbhAwesome to see a rich man want to buy a bunch of rare and exotic cars and enjoy sharing them with others, but sad to hear the story behind it all - thread read through with smiles and tears in pretty equal measures.

Talk about underselling it That looks awesome.
I think these will be a solid long-term investment, they are only going to go up in value IMO.
(essentially I am saying buy they whilst they are cheap!)

I mean, if I get hand controls fitted I think I could escape paying the VAT, but that still makes it a £420k or so car.

Absolutely love the fact this thread has got back to talking about LFA’s. What would you all like to see with the LFA or want to know about what it’s like to live with?

Hi Pete, spent the last couple of days reading the whole thread and watching your videos and what a pleasure it was. Don't frequent the forums that much and this may well be the first thread I've read in its entirety. A breath of fresh air you might say to see a rich guy with a great collection of cars who is so down to earth and so giving.
A massive JDM fan (owned my MR2 turbo for 13 years) so the LFA will always be the ultimate halo car for me (followed by the NSX type R, KPGC10 Skyline etc)
Would love to see videos of you using it just like you would with any of your other cars - daily duties, longer trips, maybe a track day then your likes and dislikes after using it for all the above. Would also like to see a properly geeky and thorough walk around - all the switches, buttons, dials, storage spaces basically ALL interior and exterior features.
thanks
Jay
