I just got rid of my AMG GTS Edition 1.
It was ok, but like most Mercs nowadays they’re just a bit ‘meh’.
If I ever got the chance to buy a brabus 190E (I think it was a 3.6) then hell year I’d have another Merc in the collection.
Think I might get myself an SLS or SLR soon.
Surely the 190 Evo II Cosworth? got to be rarer and more valuable than a Modified? It was ok, but like most Mercs nowadays they’re just a bit ‘meh’.

I’d imagine the Brabus will now be more valuable considering the founder passed away yesterday. But yes the evo 2 is stunning and very rare. I’d also have a Hammer or a Brabus rocket (E class). 2manycars said:

I had it in my head that you had a 360 Challenge Stradale as part of the collection... any reason why not? Was a poster car for me back in the day and one of the best sounding cars. They were all F1 gearboxes if I remember right though so I guess that might have something to do with it.
Another query... I'm surprised you have kept the MP4-12C after acquiring a 650S, any particular reason on that front?
Oh and one other thing, any updates on the Ferrari Challenge car you were picking up? Would love to hear more about your experience with that
No the 360 CS deal fell through because GC Motors wanted way too much money for it. They wouldn’t even knock a grand off the price (I always want a deal haha). Another query... I'm surprised you have kept the MP4-12C after acquiring a 650S, any particular reason on that front?

I’ve also kept the 650S even though I’ve got a 675lt and a Senna (on its way). I just don’t like to sell anything unless it’s rubbish.
The 488 challenge has been put on hold whilst I sort out my Pista, it was all getting way too confusing. Ferrari was ringing me nearly everyday about what I was collecting.
I’m just trying to focus on one thing at a time. It’s still coming, just been postponed until the Pista, Lusso and Portofino are delivered. Otherwise it’s just getting silly, I wouldn’t even enjoy one car before I get the next. Voodoo economics I guess.
The brothers that own the company I work for don't sell any of their cars if they like them, we've got a few relatively new (2013 onwards) Ranger Rovers, S Classes, and a 750li as pool cars! But, as you say, the rubbish get shipped off quickly.

Cheers for the reply Pete, it does make sense... despite the fact you were running at one new car a week for a while! I feel like I'm just about finished settling in with my car after 60k miles I’ve also kept the 650S even though I’ve got a 675lt and a Senna (on its way). Hmm, what else might take your fancy... I would love to see you get a Mosler, or import a Saleen S7, or maybe a Weissmann perhaps. Happy days!

It's certainly not feeding one mans habit by presenting him a pre-warmed and fully packed crack pipe...

Didn’t I read Pete had a Mercedes 300 SL gullwing?
No it was a toss up between getting the 300SL or a Miura next. Howeverrrrrrrrr, something else has landed in my lap that I just cannot pass up on, so for the time being the 300SL is on pause. There’s a few of them for sale at the moment so it’s no rush, whereas this other ‘deal’ is a must.
